I visited the Fountain Lounge inside The Roosevelt New Orleans for dinner during my stay, and it was a great experience. Not only is it convenient when you’re staying at the hotel and don’t feel like venturing back out into the city, but the food is genuinely delicious.

Absolutely outstanding! The fried chicken and honey biscuits are AMAZING
Oh my goodness, the food was absolutely amazing. I had the crab eggs Benedict, beignets and veggie beverage. Great service and outstanding food.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful, with fresh and beautifully presented food, including a crawfish omelet that was especially tasty. The mussels, gumbo, and redfish are bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The fried chicken night is a highlight, served crispy, spicy, and flavorful with sides like cole slaw and biscuits, all at a reasonable price. Surprising beignets served for an anniversary were considered some of the best ever. Service varies, but when good, it is excellent—servers like T are charming and attentive, and the staff at the bar are friendly and hospitable. Charmaine is especially attentive and friendly, making guests feel right at home. The atmosphere is inviting and lively, making the lounge a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. However, the restaurant can be inconsistent, with some issues like unreliability in food service and closing early on some days, which can be frustrating. Despite these issues, the Fountain Lounge remains a popular spot, especially for its fried chicken and warm environment.
