Fritzels house band of rotating members is some of the best Dixieland you'll ever hear.

No food to rate- just drinks (it's a pub)Our server was actually fantastic. I don't recall his name, but he was from Montenegro. However, the staff as a whole was somewhat unapproachable: especially the blonde lady- she didn't want to be bothered. The drinks were good, but about $15 each. Atmosphere was nice. Set up really well for listening to a good band, if one is playing.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Not really accessible, but one could make room if they're willing. I'm sure they have a ramp to overcome the front 2-steps.

We had 2 Vodka club sodas, and it was $32. The atmosphere was fair for the area, but for such a small venue, the music was very loud. I'm not saying the keyboard player wasn't good. It was just way too loud.

This place knocked out socks off ! So much fun ! The drinks are perfection. They invited a master clarinet player on stage when we were there .

Fritzel's always has the best entertainment!! We have not eaten there, but definately had a drink or two while enjoying the fabulous live jazz bands. It is a must stop for us every visit we make to New Orleans! If you like good honky tonk and jazz, this is the place to go!!

This is one of the more chill spots on Bourbon St. The crowd was older, but still fun and tipsy. We came for the live music and absinthe. Both were pretty good. As stated in previous reviews, service was ok. Not bad, just very low energy when compared with other Bourbon St bars. And the bathroom is pretty gross.

“I had an amazing experience at this bar! Not only did they play great jazz music, but they also went above and beyond in their customer service. I was visiting from Brazil with family and friends and accidentally left my wallet there with my documents, cards, and a a large sum of cash inside. The staff found my wallet and returned it to me with everything intact. Their honesty and integrity really impressed me, and I highly recommend this bar to anyone looking for a great atmosphere and exceptional service.” E. V.

Unbelievable! I did some research on the best jazz clubs in New Orleans before I arrived, and this place kept coming up! And for good reason. We started the night at Frenchman street where there was an abundance of jazz clubs, but nothing beats this place. There is a high turnover of tourists at the seats in front of the band, so you will always find a seat if you wait. There is also a garden in the backyard with more seating. We saw the Fritzel all stars playing who were fantastic. Check out my pictures and videos below. Nothing more to say, would 100% recommend this place to everyone visiting New Orleans. Will return!

Dropped in on a Wednesday night. Quickly got drinks and seats watching the awesome jazz band performing. Atmosphere was intimate with great decor and memorabilia everywhere. A really fun time! ??
