If you looking to spend a couple grand with your wedding party(20 people) then get jumped at the end of the night by the staff then look no further! This is your place. There was 4/5 of us left when we were jumped by several of the staff and other patrons. 3 of us sustained pretty bad injuries. Broke finger, jaws, concussion, ect. One waitress literally tried to bite my finger off to steal my wedding rings! We have no idea why they did this! Also beware of the “shot” scam they ran on several of us that night!

Bourbon street is good vibes all up and down but this place had something special going for it, especially with Troy Laz Band playing. They were fantastic and we came back here both nights we were in New Orleans. Had the best time the first night sober and an even better the next with a few drinks. We weren’t the only ones who kept coming back either. Many people left and returned multiple times through the night. Super fun venue with two bars and friendly staff. The door staff especially did a great job of bringing people in as they were so fun and friendly. I will say, the only thing that took it down a peg was the strange bathroom attendant who was selling stuff in the men’s toilets and got extremely rude and weird with my partner after he didn’t buy anything. It was a tiny bathroom and his presence was very uncomfortable and odd. Not even sure if he works at the bar as he was only there one of the two nights and we didn’t see this “service” at any other bars we went to.

Had a blast! Small club. Great music (Troy Laz Band). Unexpected and welcomed chance to groove.

Viera so good took really good care of me. She is truly a master craft bar tender. I actually am in love with her!

The bartender seemed inconvenienced to take our order, then tried to charge us $46 for a bottom-shelf margarita and a simple whiskey & Coke. No thanks. When asked about the price, there was no clear explanation. We refused the drinks and left.

Went here for the labor day 3 day weekend..the hype man on Saturday was amazing, the song selection order got a little strange and they have a jello shot scam where they give it and then charge you later. But overall I had a good time here

The band was amazing . Be careful when you pay card. The bartenders write in the tip after they process the bill on the tip line !

Used a contactless card to pay for drinks and was subsequently scammed $300. Dreadful experience.

Funky 544 was a great surprise! No cover charge to get in—just a one-drink minimum, which is more than fair. The vibe was super chill and the live R&B band was fantastic. It’s one of the few spots on Bourbon Street where you can actually catch some solid R&B, which I really appreciated. Definitely a cool place to hang out if you’re looking for good music and a laid-back crowd. I’ll be back for sure!

Band was great.
Rum and coke with tooter I didn’t ask for was flat and tasted watered down. Clarify your drink is a single if you don’t want dumb surcharge. Better yet, order a can/bottle.

We had a wonderful time at this club. We happen to stumble upon it as we were walking down the street checking out all the things to be seen in New Orleans! We stopped in here for probably about two hours and we were thoroughly entertained by the All-Star band! And their name is very benefiting because those young folks performed their behinds off! That was the best time I’ve had in a long time!

They played everything from Chaka Khan to Whitney Houston to the Jackson 5 to the gap band to Jill Scott to Erykah Badu to NEO. Very nicely done!!!!

Bartender forged a 100% tip on a $12 tab. This place needs to be and will be investigated.
