For a place that requires a dinner jacket the place was so loud you could barely hear yourself talk. The atmosphere and the staff were very pretentious and did not give good service. We were served bread with no plates or butter knives. On top of all of that, the food was average at best. You could probably get the same quality at a hotel restaurant. Would not recommend to anyone except maybe a bridal party looking to eat something on bourbon street.

The cocktails are, appropriately, the star of the show for me. Delicious, inventive, I recommend trying one of each (perhaps not one after the other). The New Orleans classics and specials are done incredibly well and I loved all of the seafood and steak options I have tried. Oysters Rockefeller were the best I’d had in town. Save room for dessert!

Galatoire’s 33 is next door to and is basically a less formal Galatoire’s. They do not require gentlemen to wear jackets and nice shorts and a collared shirt is fine. The food is very much the same. The service is always good and this is a very enjoyable place. Give them a try for a good meal in a less formal setting.Vegetarian options: A few non-meat and lots of seafood optionsKid-friendliness: Kids welcome but more an adult placeParking: Two paid lots and some on-street parkingWheelchair accessibility: Fully accessibleDietary restrictions: Staff will work with you on any restrictions you make them aware of

Amazing food! Great selection on the menu! Fish was fresh and crab was so good!

This restaurant was a huge disappointment. It’s old school, stodgy and the food was just mediocre. We went on a Sunday night and they sat anyone who wore a jacket/suit in one room and everyone else in another room ( I guess this is still a thing in the South). The menus I believe were the same. The service was friendly but we felt rushed. But the biggest disappointment was the food. Having read so many good reviews about this place, I had high expectations I guess. However, the food was just not that great! Save your money and go elsewhere.

Too stodgy for no reason! Food wasn’t that great! Service was mediocre! If you don’t wear a dinner jacket or suit, you can’t sit in the main dining room. For what?!?!

3 of us had dinner here and all of us enjoyed our meal.We had sweetbreads and oysters Rockefeller both great.Salmon was perfectly cookedThe special fish waspompano, it was cooked nicely and seasoned well.Au gratin cauliflower and the potatoes both delicious.Bouillabaisse was fantastic also. The only downside is the room we were in our bus boy / attendant for water needed to be asked twice for us to get a refill on our water.

Our medical nonprofit society held our annual reception at 33, and we could not have been happier! After a long convention, a fun night was much needed and deserved, and 33 delivered. The food was delightful, drinks were abundant, dancing was epic, and staff? The staff was incredible. Every single staff member was ready and willing to help, thinking on their feet/outside the box, honoring our (many) special requests, and all with a smile. It was nice to have two designated spaces: 1. for bar and dancing, 2. for eating and visiting with friends/colleagues. Great location for a second line parade and easy accessibility to an after party.Highly recommend holding an event here.

Fancy but comfortable. Excellent and impeccable service. Our waitress Candace was very helpful and never made us feel rushed.

During our first visit to NOLA we were lucky enough to get a walk-in table at Galatoire's and everything from start to finish was wonderful. Our server, Mignon, was fantastic. Not only were our drinks always full and all our needs met, she was incredibly friendly, funny, sweet and truly made this visit top notch. We told her we would be coming back to NOLA just to see her again! Highly recommend this restaurant for great food & great service. Ask for Mignon to be your waitress, you won't regret it!

My partner and I flew to NOLA to celebrate my birthday and had my "birthday dinner" here. We had the most wonderful experience at Galatoire's! Food was exceptional, ambiance/vibe was perfect and our waitress, Mignon, truly made our visit such a special night. We will definitely be back and will definitely be requesting her service again. She made my birthday even more special than I had hoped! HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and if you have Mignon, you won't be disappointed!

This was the leanest, driest, and most char'd medium rare steak I've had. Don't come here thinking you're going to get a good $54 steak. My NY strip had zero fat. I tasted char the whole meal, no flavor. Also, my drink ran dry, which is not the type of service I expect at these

We wanted a nice dinner on our last night in the French Qtr. We chose Galatoires and so glad we did. The service was impeccable, Kelsey is a wonderful server. We started with the potato souffle, perfect little puffs. We had redfish and black drum with caper buerre blanc sauce, steamed spinach, cauliflower au gratin and finished with bread pudding. It was like eating a homemade meal. Everything was delicious. Can't say enough about what a nice experience our dinner was. Thank you Galatoires!
