Great flavor, good music, nice servers, but weak drinks - and I watched it poured, so the booze must be watered down.

Its a nice place to stop and get out of the heat. Sampled some of the local dishes, food was fi e but not really to.my taste, but I'm glad I tried it. There was a live band play when we visited. The service was polite, and willing to serve us.

I Just LOVE! this place! It has great Cajun and Creole food which is quite good.... as good as most places which are better known. But Very Special: On A WARM summer day, in the shade there is a COOL breeze, blowing across the outside patio, ice COLD frozen daiquiris, which kind of many flavors all excellent, and HOT jazz live and Warm blues soulful. I've been there many times. It never disappoints. I highly recommend it. DrB from DC 😎

The cheese fries were truly good. They opted to use real cheese instead of pumping it from a can. The wife loved their gumbo.
It is worth saying we enjoyed live music as we recharged for the walk to the hotel.

Nice spot for people watching and listening to music. There was a pretty good brass band and the local brew was delicious. Our server was fun to chat with. I would recommend skipping the food though. The gumbo was thin and the rest was worse. I’m not positive but I also got the impression that they don’t have a restroom for customers (other than the one that’s for everyone in the French market)

I had so much fun at this bar over my stay weather it was me and the dogs, the dogs daughters and I, or the girls
Friend dogs and I always great. Never had to wait for a table. Service was fantastic! Great band. Good food and drinks. Great spot to watch the parade

Normally, I don’t post negative reviews but they automatically put gratuity on my bill and the service was bad enough to not tip. They took our order and came back to tell us they were out of one item and made no alternative suggestions. Then forgot the second part our food order and messed up the drink order after coming back to the table once to double check she heard the order correctly. The coffee was not good and the alcoholic drinks were mediocre at best. We will not give them a second try.

It's a great place to stop and catch your breath after sprinting through the French Quarter. Live music is quality ! Drinks are great. Anthony served us one day and was the bartender the next...excellent at both. Very clean public restrooms which is not always the case in the French Quarter..... The park area has seen better days BUT still has it's own charm.
