We visit Houston’s quite often and have been for many years, and it has always been our favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, our visit on Saturday, 12/20 did not meet the standards we’ve come to expect. Our waitress, Taylor, provided very poor service, which significantly affected our experience. She was inattentive, rarely checked on our table, and did not seem interested in ensuring we had a pleasant dining experience. Her attitude came across as dismissive and unprofessional. The lack of attentiveness and concern was very disappointing given our long history with Houston’s.

NOT FOR FAMILIES. They refused to seat us even though there were open tables, they told the group in front that once the entire party of 8 was there, they would seat them if they still had an open table. But then told us they didn't have any tables in the restaurant to seat 6. Best we can figure is we had a very well behaved 3 year old with us. We loved this place when we were in town a few years ago. But they dont want your families money.

We went on our 1st year anniversary. We had our first date here. My husband loves it. The security guy made our day. He was humorous and personable. Everything was wonderful. The waiter kept saying happy anniversary.

Pricey. Upscale. It is a place you would take someone you want to impress. That being said, the food is what you would see in big budget movies. I had the red fish special and fully loaded bake potato which was perfect. The spinach artichoke was okay, so pass on it and get something else. There are many options.
