Had the worst experience the manager Janice an older white lady threatening to lock me in the bathroom as I walked in to use the RESTAURANT BATHROOM while my father waited to be seated. She then continued to scream GET OUT this is my restaurant. I was completely embarrassed being a near by resident who frequently eats here not to mention the restaurant was completely empty tonight. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Place is so dirty and nasty. The employees are horrible service is non existent,,, when I finally got my food water was empty before they brought the food never once refilled,, horrible place

Incredibly rude to my family and I whilst we were on holiday. Waiters talked to us with complete disdain while we simply asked for a menu. Totally empty and dark during the middle of the day. Gave us a bad impression of the area on our first day. Happy to say that we left immediately and had a lovely experience at Cafe Beignet nearby.

Absolute worst IHOP I have been to in my life. Service was slow , the orders were messed up. My sons burger was cut into small squares and the final straw was when I requested gravy for my country fried steak and when I poured the gravy it was the texture of baby vomit and cold

This is by far our favorite IHOP!! The food is always great! The restaurant is always clean! And hands down, they have the best service we have ever seen. From the warm greetings, fast service, friendly smiles, this place has it all. Our waitress Nakia was professional, courteous, friendly and provided the best service we could have hoped for. We visit this restaurant on every NOLA visit and highly recommend you do as well!

I want to make this perfectly clear; this review is for the waitress Nikiyah(?) I'm sure I butchered her name and I'm sorry.
It's an iHop. There's nothing special about this one specifically. The missus and I went in and got the breakfast sampler. The food came out fairly quickly, was exactly what you'd expect from an iHop, same with the coffee.
From the moment we walked in, it was very obvious there were some staffing issues here. There was a queue of about 5 people waiting to be sat, while there were about a dozen or so empty tables. Looking around, there was a manager, standing around doing about half of nothing and looking like she'd rather be anywhere else, a waitress slogging about with a clear chip on her shoulder, and a bus boy(?) slowly clearing tables.
Then there was Nikiyah. This woman was a hurricane. Seating customers, clearing tables, running food, taking orders. Essentially, she was running the whole restaurant.
There were a few tables sat near us who sounded like a nightmare to deal with, and at no point did I ever see anything but a lovely smile on her face.
Nikiyah was an absolute breath of fresh air in hospitality and a pleasure to watch work. An absolute diamond in the rough. I cannot sing her praises enough. If there is a restaurant owner or manager reading this, go give that woman a job at a proper establishment because this iHop does not deserve her
