Ikura Hibachi And Sushi

Renovation required. Floors are falling apart. Bathroom is held together with drywall screws. Grills are bent and need some care. Food was ok, but the plastic tables with sauce trays in the entryway demonstrate their care about your dining experience.

My family and I visited Ikura for dinner, excited to enjoy hibachi and ramen. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. We ordered both hibachi and ramen, but despite asking multiple times, our ramen never arrived. Each time we inquired, our waiter simply apologized but never followed through. By the time everyone at our table had finished their meals, my mom and I decided to tell the waiter to just forget about the ramen. The lack of follow-up and attention to our order was frustrating, especially since we were really looking forward to enjoying the ramen. Very disappointing service—we expected better.

I took my wife here for Valentine's lunch and we highly enjoyed the food, our chef was awesome and entertaining. Great spot to go and have a great meal and time

salty, gross, gave us dirty plates and utensils, did not check to see if we needed anything. not happy with this experience.

Didn’t have any seats. Not enough for just 2 people. Got there at 9:20pm they close at 11:00pm. Wife asked if she could use the restroom, after realizing we weren’t going to be customers anymore the lady said the restroom was broke.

Very good restaurant I have ordered with Uber eat several times! I recommend!

Food was great but the service was absolutely horrible. The don’t do bottle service here. They don’t clear away empty plates. No music playing for atmosphere it’s just dead silent. An hour and 30 minute limit for the buffet. Eat here if you like listening to other people chewing the whole time. Meanwhile the servers do not refill drinks, not even water, unless you call them over from across the restaurant and ask. Never eating here again. Sushi Nami in Metairie is a million times better. Can’t wait for sushi masa to come to town. Rouses sushi kiosk has better service than ikura.

I got there at about 2215, and they closed at 2300, but I was still greeted promptly and friendly. I ordered chicken and shrimp hibachi and a kitty roll togo. My soup was kind of bland, but still paired well with the salad. The kitty roll was very delicious, it didn’t hold together as well as I would’ve liked, but that was probably due to being in a togo box and the soy wrap.the portion size of the rice was a little disappointing, but overall the food was worth the price I paid. Would recommend for a date night, or if you just want some good food.

Well, I'm not a great lover of sushi, Ramen or hibachi, and these are the specialties of the house. with a huge selection of each of these. I ordered the shrimp and vegetable tempura, one of 2 items that wasn't sushi or Ramen. It came with miso soup which was excellent.
It was enjoyable. I thought some of the prices were rather high.

The communication between the server and the hibachi chef was practically nonexistent. Food was missing and had to be reordered. Although the servings were healthy, the flavor, seasoning, and textures were not.
