Some of the best snoballs in town and usually has short lines. Much better than some of the well-known names.

Parking: Usually a spot or two available immediately adjacent to the stand.

Kid-friendliness: Kid size available. Small picnic table for seating.

Wheelchair accessibility: Can order and pick up directly from the sidewalk at the front (no interior). Whether you consider New Orleans sidewalks themselves wheelchair accessible is another matter.

Excellent snowballs, never too long of a wait, and really friendly staff.

I visited this fantastic snowball stand uptown, and they have great flavors. The only issue I encountered was that the owner keeps placing a large hanging potted plant directly in front of the menu board. As a 6'1 individual, it always gets in my way and partially blocks the window to pay, which can be inconvenient. Perhaps placing the plant to the left could help alleviate this issue.

With there being so many sno-ball spots in NOLA, I can’t recommend going here. They were weren’t that good neither my partner or myself were impressed.

I just finished my pineapple cilantro, it tastes amazing. I tried to get the lemon basil but they weee out of it. Recommend this place but you must wait a lot, it took me 40 min to get mine.

The workers are always friendly, the ice is good, syrups are house made, a sno ball always puts a smile on my face!

Lovely sno-ball to enjoy in the hot summer weather! I got the strawberry cheesecake flavor this time. It's nothing fancy, just syrup and shaved ice but oh it tasted so good! Got a small and that is just perfrct for me! Will be back in future to try out something different.

Woodpecker has the true shaved ice many want. (not that silly sno-cone stuff). I had the watermelon flavor. This was served in a tall cup and tasted great. It was a wonderful cold treat on a very hot day.

Out of all the snowball places we visited while in New Orleans, this was my seven-year-old's favorite. Here's why:1) Flavors: They have a list, but many stood out to my daughter- rainbow, blue raspberry, pink lemonade. She went for the rainbow and LOVED it. It comes with four flavors- yellow (pineapple), red (strawberry), blue (blue raspberry), and green (apple).2) Service: The staff are friendly and even let my daughter use their private restroom.3) Sizes: They have many cup sizes, but the kid one is perfect for all.4) Area: Along a main road, there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby.5) Space: The stand is small and there's one picnic table off to the side, but my daughter and I enjoyed ours on the nearby curb.
