Saturday, Feb 14 2026 about 6:45 pm. I was sitting at the bar, 4th spot from the end. Just finished my main dish and a busser put the packed leftovers to my right. At thst moment, Irene's host (Michael was the name I learned later) decided to convert my spot to the right into two spots. To this effect, Michael moved my leftovers to a spot below a candelabra, put the tablecloth of the new guest partially on top of mine and his chair literally touching my chair. (Our server Andrew admonished me for putting the leftovers in the place Michael put them and asked me to move them, telling me they can't be there). We decided to leave without making a fuss and without ordering dessert. A 5 star experience ruined by Michael. Hope he learns from this and doesn't do it again. PS: It was Valentine's night and it was a couple that he fit in this one spot, so couldn't help but think that he wouldn't have done it without a bribe; I will never know for sure.

Spectacular. The bruschetta was fresh and flavorful. The lasagna was as good as what I make (which is a major compliment), haha. The tiramisu was absolute perfection. Genuinely incredible food.

Everything was wonderful! We had the Escargot, Duck, Lamb and Tiramisu. Andrew was one of the best servers I have ever had in a restaurant, and we will definitely be back next time we're in NOLA. We also met Sister Nicholas and she was lovely

We love IRENE'S. This was our 4th time to dine there. The food is consistently excellent and the atmosphere so beautiful. Sadly, last night. Our server Edward rushed us. Despite our telling him we love to take our time and relax he kept pushing us to order. It definitely riuned our dining experience..

Excellent food and great atmosphere. Seafood fettuccine as well as lamb were just superb. The food clearly stands out vs. other equally expensive restaurants.
We had a delicious assortment of apps and an amazing round of cocktails right after we got into town. Able to accommodate us at a mid-afternoon time with no wait. What a great start to our time here!

One of the absolute best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. The entire staff chips in to make sure you are taken care of from the moment you walk in the door. Got to spend a couple of minutes with Ms.Irene when we were done with dinner along with her friend Sister Nicholas. Great date night for my wife and I, we will be back!
