Our waiter, Hunter was fantastic offering suggestions and great tips for first time visitors to NOLA. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. Would recommend.Vegetarian of our party were vegetarian. Our waiter suggested a vegetable plate which was really nice! We also had the ravioli which were good but not great.
Five star meal, service, and atmosphere. One of the best restaurants in the French Quarter and one of the best Italian restaurants anywhere that I’ve enjoyed. Reservations are essential.

We had dinner at the bar since we didn't realize reservations a couple weeks ahead are critical to a table at this restaurant. It was very nice to have the option of waiting for a seat at the bar, and it was actually quite lovely since our server was always right in front of us and the piano player was close by in the room as well. The food was superb...I had the delicious fish almandine and my husband enjoyed the chicken with roasted potatoes. They were both served very hot, which I appreciate. We thought the price was very reasonable for the quality of the food. And our server/bartender was friendly and efficient. If I lived in NOLA, I'd eat at Irene's twice a month for sure!
Ambiance- lively, cozy place with live music. A lot of people come alone to enjoy the good foods at the bar. A perfect place to come for a romantic date night or date with yourself! Service is good. Our server Robert was very helpful and attentive. Food was seriously one of the top. The fish dish was honestly one of the best fish dish ever although I didn't like the almonds on top that much. The steak, which I got in medium rare was also so soft. We got moscato and Prosecco. Moscato was also one of the best I have ever tried. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place for food and the vibe.

Per our request, the Maurer d seated us at a window table. Amazing service from our waiter, Allen. Meatballs were better than homemade. Italian sausage was a cross between Italian and Boudin flavors. A perfectly brewed decaf Cappuccino after dinner. And reasonable price wine.
