This charming Italian restaurant is an absolute delight. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food was fabulous. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. My friend had the lasagna and said it was the best she's ever had. The service was stellar. You felt welcome from the minute you were greeted and were exceptionally treated throughout your dining experience. Our server was amazing. All the employees worked together like a well rehearsed orchestra, so professional....
Just love Irene's. We visit every time we are in NO- about 4 times a year. We always request to dine at the bar. From what I can gather a lot of locals sit at the bar. We always meet great ppl while there and the food is always some of the best we have all week. The lamb chops are amazing -the sauce on them to die for !!! All the Italian dishes are excellent as well- and I frequently order the chicken rosamarino and duck is excellent as well. This review is baking bd want...
Great atmosphere in the St Joseph room. Our waiter David was friendly, engaging, and professional.Food was excellent, from the appetizers to the dessert. Will tell my friends and return next time I am in New Orleans.
