I stood at the counter and the 2 workers did not greet us nor acknowledge us so I took my business somewhere els .. I felt discriminated!

I wish I had reviewed them before. I used to love them. The last few times, they've been steadily worse. The last time I picked up they were empty and the lady sat with her back to the door. She didn't greet me until I was almost to the counter. The food was sitting in the window but she stopped for a snack and quick drink in the kitchen.
The dog had trouble gnawing the crust and the lasagna sauce had turned.
When I called I was told it was probably my taste buds. I asked her to taste it and was told she didn't eat red sauce.
This could have been just a bad streak but it could have been handled better. If you decide to give them a try, be aware they are next to a nail salon so it's best to get it to go. But check it first.

Very nice local pizza restaurant. Enjoyed one traditional pizza with a Bogo specialty pizza very delicious and quick service.

I ordered a pizza online for pickup. The app told me the pizza was ready I got there and they told me they didn't have the order. I showed them the order # and suddenly they found it a cooked the pizza. No one in the store and not busy at all. You had your chance I will be going elsewhere.

Ordered through door dash. Only got a sixth of my order and someone else's salad. Called the place to see if they'd make it right and got told to talk to door dash. I was a first time customer. Now I'm a last time customer.

I was real disappointed by restaurants on uber eats until I came across this one. This was worth it though. I got the meat pizza and the Buffalo saucy wings, fantastic choice. Thank you the flavor and quality was on point. I just put another order in and I'm looking forward to it.

I have been ordering and eating at the Italian Pie in Harahan for nearly 20 years. For the most part, my orders and food have been on point. This evening, I received terrible service, which is unusual for this business. First, I paid with gift certificates and was told no change could be given. I kindly tipped the staff the $8 difference as I have been happy in the past. When I got my pizzas and cheesesticks home, the pizza did not contain the ingredients I ordered, and the cheesesticks were cold and hard. The second pizza was fine. I called to be credited for my next order for the add ons that I did not receive. I was told that no one could help me, and there was no manager available to speak to. Then the girl on the phone said she was pretty sure the toppings were on the pizza. I assured her they were not and even offered to send a picture of the pizza. She then said the cook said he thinks he put them on there. I asked, "Why the heck would I be calling if the order were right????" This was the worst experience I have had at the Italian Pie. When I asked the girl on the phone for her name or employee number, she said she could give me no information. I asked her to have someone call me and was told I would have to call back sometime later in the week that she didn't know when a manager would be back in the store. If my business was being run this poorly by an incapable staff, I would have a manager there at ALL times. Disappointing at best.

The first time I went to this location, the service was decent but not great. The gentleman at the counter didn't want to walk to the tables to take my order. Eventually a young lady did who was moderately polite. The garlic bread is fantastic, but the pasta I got was horrible. It was overcooked and looked like it had been sitting underneath a heat lamp all day. I mean really gross. I was in a hurry today and decided to swing by for some more garlic bread and see if things got better. Unfortunately, they didn't. The young lady at the counter was incredibly rude to me. I literally looked at the menu for 10 seconds and she was already pressuring me to make an order. I placed my very simple one item order and was told it would be 15 minutes for garlic bread in a rude tone then she walked to the back. When she returned, I watched this young lady to see if she spoke to anyone else that way. She absolutely did not! I don't know what is stuck up her butt, but she was literally nice to every other person except for me. I have no idea why. I was polite and smiled like I do to everyone. There was no reason for her to act that way other than I was a new customer. If that's the case then this place should shut down now. You want MORE customers. You don't want to run them off by being disrespectful. So I'll go get my cheesy bread somewhere else from now on since this is the way they act. No wonder they are empty 90% of the time. You should treat all customers equally. There was no reason for her to act that way today. She's a waitress at Italian pie. I'm literally in the parking lot typing this. That's how much this pissed me off.
