I had the curry chicken plate with the plantains & I also had 3 beef pattys. Everything was so flavorful & the spice was delicious. I think this is the most authentic/ best tasting Jamaican food I’ve had in Louisiana. When I tell you I been telling everybody ik about this place. The food was so gooddd and the lady at the register was so nice. This is how you do Jamaican food and customer service. When I come back to New Orleans I will back! I’ll take that hour drive no problem ??Kid-friendliness: There’s a kids menu and it’s a very family friendly place from what I saw. My kid loved the food!

First time going and I was impressed by the atmosphere, the customer service and the food ! I ordered Oxtails and it comes with peas & rice, my 2 sides were cabbage & mac & cheese. The cabbage had a slight kick to them,Oxtails were very tender,mac & cheese was the BEST I've had from a restaurant ?. I will be going back. You have to try the rum punch & the tea !! Went to pick up food. After 30 min of no one even making eye contact with me, I cancelled the orders and left. I’m sure the food is good, but you gotta wait a LONG time to get any type of service. It’s just shoulder to shoulder people, getting no service, not worth the wait.
