I've been here to get sandwiches at least a dozen times. I could have complained ten. Mainly, there is one young African American female working there, each time I've encountered her, she not only doesn't say anything to me as a customer, she literally looks at me like she's mad! I'll take it a step further, she looks like she wants to attack me! Who owns this place without knowing any of this?! She's not the first, just the most recent!! You can get away with anything next to Tulane! Next time, I'm definitely on the phone with corporate! That's just disgusting!!

If you live here and go here, you should move.

I'm writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent experience at Jimmy John's on Maple Street. While I've often enjoyed their sandwiches, my visit today was marred by one major issue: being denied a simple, basic human need - free water. As a customer spending money on food, I believe access to water should be a given, not an additional purchase. It's not just about quenching thirst; it's about basic decency and customer service. When I politely asked for a cup of water, I was told that they only offered drinks for purchase. This left me feeling parched, nickel-and-dimed, and ultimately disrespected. This policy not only inconveniences customers but also paints a picture of a company more concerned with profit margins than basic customer satisfaction. I hope it was worth it losing a customer over 2 dollars.

Have had so many terrible experiences at this location. Just recently ordered for pickup through doordash (because their delivery service is so unpredictable) and when I got there they told me my order had been cancelled and I had received a phone call. I showed the cashier that my order had never been cancelled and I had never received a phone call. He was totally rude about it and basically said not my problem. I walked 25 minutes there and wasn’t even refunded.

Not only was the staff rude to my partner when they picked up my order, when i got my sandwich (a turkey tom with bacon), the sandwich barely had any turkey on it. This is the worst location in the city by far. I won’t be back.

I placed a delivery order and was called a few minutes later and told that no one was available to deliver. This is understandable. However, when I went to pick up the food, I was not refunded the delivery charge or the tip left for the delivery person. That's basically stealing.

This location NEEDS DEDICATED PARKING. I ordered a sandwich, parked in the lot next to the location for the exact time it took me to go inside the store and pick my sandwich up that was ordered on the app, I received a $140 boot ticket. That is RIDICULOUS to have to pay more for parking than my sandwich cost. This is theft and a reputable company such as Jimmy John's should care more about their customers than to allow companies to boot them in order to pick up a sandwich.

WHEN LOCAL POBOY SHOPS FAIL YOUFood: 1. Good price Value: a 6" ham and provolone with mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, Dijon, peppers, and onions; plus a bag of Zapp's quality chips is just $6.36. 2) Yeah, it's not a Local Po'Boy: but so many of those complacent institutions have let me down with a poor product (e.g. Parran's closing on Prytania after just a few years), also... 3) Compare to Breauxmart: their staple, dry 6 wedge finger sandwiches are now $6.06 with tax - or $1 a 1" square wedge!!! (See pics for comparison - or no comparison).Atmosphere: it is what it is...Service: love the app that lets you customize and gives you calorie and nutrition counts. There is also a pretty darn good loyalty program.

I ordered in advance online expecting in my sandwich to be ready in 15-20 minutes when I arrived. Ended up getting there and only dude working was sitting on his phone and ended up having to wait an extra 10 minutes for my order to be finished. Terrible service.

I adore JJ's for a nice, quick sandwich. I love ordering ahead and then picking up on my way to work, or on my way home. I have a pretty straightforward order, so I never really worry about a mess-up or anything like that.First, most of the employees here are super friendly. They're always pleasant and will return my greeting, although having them greet me first has never happened, which is odd for a public service establishment. My bigger problem comes from the temperament of ordering here. Sometimes, you'll order, and you'll never get any type of return message that your order is done. One day I had waited so long that when I finally just gave up and went in to see what was up, they had my order sitting there ready for pick up, all of my ice had melted in my cup and there was a huge ring of moisture around my drink, letting me know it had been ready for quite awhile. Another time, I ordered, heard nothing back (per usual) went in after 10 minutes and had three people yell "We're Closed!" as soon as I opened the door. So I asked what about my order and they said they canceled it and it would be refunded. Still have no proof of that refund (a few weeks later). It was just a sandwich, it wasn't that big of a deal, but to have this consistent problem of trying to order and never knowing what the outcome will be gets to be quite irksome. Is it good? Sure, as long as you like JJs, but the frustrations of ordering ahead are plentiful, so you'd be best just going in and asking for food made in front of you.

It took over an hour for my order to get to me..I called and they were super rude and said “if you’re calling about your order it’s on the way” after 30 mins of waiting I called again and they explained the order was not in fact on the way and that they closed at 7 so I could either wait or cancel.. I’m trapped at work, with no food so I figured I’d wait well here I am about 1.5 hrs later STILL waiting. My job has closed by this point and now the store is closed and I have no idea if my food is even actually on its way Either way by the time it gets here I’ll have been waiting for almost two hours. This is ridiculous. For a store that advertises being freaky fast and literally won’t let you order out of a certain distance range for that reason this is ridiculous. I probably could’ve ordered from a location ten miles away and it would’ve been faster. Seriously ridiculous. Oh and my sandwixh got here mid reciew. Since it’s been sitting out for over an hour it’s soggy and falling apart.
