I failed to read the menu carefully and didn't realize brunch was available only on Fri-Sun. That was disappointing but my fault. Food was good. Reasonably priced for the Quarter. Ordered Mimosas and the champagne was flat. Other than that, very good experience.
We are staying for 4 nights in NOLA, this is one of the 8 restaurants that I researched, for 8 meals with a variety of cuisines styles, thanks you very much!
The food and service were excellent! A lot of great happy hour specials on apps and drinks, and the hurricane was the best we had (and tried them in several restaurants). We spent a long time there and our server hit the perfect blend of friendly and attentive without being pushy or making us feel rushed. Highly recommend for a meal or a good hang out spot with friends.
Food and Service were great ...the pecan pie my husband had was the best he's ever ate and my tiramisu for dessert was also outstanding. Our waiter was excellent. He was very helpful and kind. Our only complaint was we had made the reservation several weeks in advance and got seated in the bar area, which had uncomfortable chairs was louder and just didn't have the ambience, and there were several tables open in the main dining room. I had the duck which was outstanding, and my husband had the black and drum, which was also excellent. We will be back.!
Loved the chicken with red beans and rice, but the duck wasn't cooked properly. The service was somewhat mediocre. While the staff was very polite, they weren't ready for us despite making a reservation, and our waiter seemed to forget us a few times.
We had a fantastic experience as small group of 3. Our server, Leon, knew the menu extremely well, and all 3 of his recommendations (the spicy margarita, the boudin balls, and chicken on a plate) were fantastic, and we couldn't have asked for better food, or a better server, if we tried. Would highly recommend to others.
Good food; no complaints. Appetizers came out at the same times as mains (which was not ideal) but all very tasty. Not too fancy or casual either - right in the middle for a nice evening.
Food was excellent as were the drinks! Great little restaurant with in easy walking distance of Canal. Suggest a quick smoke if you're so inclined at the Cigar Factory of New Orleans right around the corner!
The minute we arrived the host knew immediately who we were and was aware of my allergies which was a huge plus. Our waitress was amazing and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was outstanding. Definitely when I go back to New Orleans I am coming here again! That Chicken on Every Plate was great portions with amazing flavors. Highly recommend coming from a foodie!
Being from NOLA Im a little bit of a food snob, so with that being said, we always like to try new places in the city and we have not been to Kingfish, but heard great things about this restaurant. The food was so good the Boudin appetizer was so flavorful, and the blackened red fish was outstanding. We will definitely be going back because the service was great as well.

We were seated in he very back of the fairly empty restaurant where the food is picked up and we could watch the staff fold napkins. Service was spotty and the ambiance was vey disappointing, but the food was delicious. So try and sit among the others patrons and maybe the service and ambience will be better!!!
Great experience. Food was great service very attentive. Great place to explore Cajun food on a higher level.
Our favorite meal of our New Orleans trip! Our favorites were the fried green tomato app and the Alfredo pasta was TO DIE FOR! I'm not a fan of scallops and they let me swap for chicken. Will be thinking of that pasta for a while!
The food was more expensive than other local places and the value was less. The crab melt sandwich only a few bits of crabmeat. The filet minion was $45 and ordered as medium rare but came cooked medium and was teeny tiny.
Our favorite restaurant to bring our out of town guests when they come in to fish with us. Always great service, phenomenal food and overall wonderful experience.
