I. Love. The mint limeade. I think I might actually be addicted to it. I get it every chance I get, and trust me, you need to try it too!! And every food item I've tried has been sooo delicious.

The owner is the best, and he treats his regulars so well. Best hidden gem ever!

Food was amazing. I had never had a pupusa before and was blown away. Essentially an incredible stuffed quesadilla with any fresh filling!!! Rest of food was incredible and the service and prices were great.

It was amazing service and even better pupusas! Manny and his team are the best! They are efficient, loving, talented workers, and most importantly they make you feel like family! It is always a good time when I come to the Macarena! I go at least once a month, or sometimes stop by just to talk to Manny! Love their food and the overall environment!

I love this place! Truthfully, I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else for a good pupusa. They are upfront about their pricing (which I appreciate) and the price matches the quality. Comfortable atmosphere, great food, and service with a smile. What more could you ask for?

Be very careful of significant up charging. The owner is very nice and attentive, but will push items as left over from catering 'your lucky day' only to find a simple brunch and a couple of drinks is almost $100. Food was good, asked for extra sliced jalapenos - owner said 'I got you' ended up with extremely expensive salsa and chips that weren't asked for but made to believe they were complimentary. Also didn't receive actual items ordered and it was dismissed, 'oh sorry I put in the wrong item I'll take care of it' but never did. Unfortunately we were excited to potentially call this a regular spot, but left feeling taken advantage of when it wasn't necessary.

This place is so great. Cute and cozy and the food is amazing! Manny the owner will treat you like an old friend. Probably the best chips and guac I’ve ever had, and the shrimp tacos are absolutely delicious!
