This was unexpected. I thought this place was just going to be like many others, a simple repeat of what's already out there. It was so much better then I expected. The food was DELICIOUS and I cant wait to go back.
Lagniappe Bakery is warm and inviting, with amazing pastries and really solid coffee. The line moves quickly and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. After you grab your treats, it’s worth a walk through the neighborhood to check out the beautiful old homes and architecture.

Each bite was decadent, and you can't go wrong with any as there is a pastry for everyone. Highly recommend the Vaucroissant for a savory option and the seasonal pastry (with a cream filling dollop in the middle) for a sweet option.
