No person at the “entrance” to greet you the third times we entered the restaurant. The staff lack customer service. The food however, was okay. Mimosas hit.

A great place to grab a drink and a tasty meal. Mika was an outstanding bar tender. Great conversation and service. Top of the list of my NOLA visit.

Food is great and I have previously enjoyed dining here very much. On the last visit the manager was not friendly nor accommodating at all! We were told we couldn't make adjustments to a dish we'd previously adjusted and eaten here literally THE DAY BEFORE!!! That killed the whole vibe. Our favorite waitress Kay had been moved to a different location as well. Not sure if I'll be back. Too many other restaurants in New Orleans with much friendlier service. We book at the Renaissance Hotel specifically for the restaurant. Probably will book elsewhere in the future.

Place looks great but the service is crap, dont bother. Waited almost 10 minutes for the bartender to get a nightcap, nope, they never showed and it was only 850 pm.

Had lunch and dinner there this past week. Everything we had was amazing. Don't skip the voodoo shrimp!

Waited 30 minutes for a beer, 45 for food then seafood gumbo showed with no seafood. The waitress appologized several times, though I would of preferred they would of told me to go elsewhere.

Charbroiled oysters were excellent! Service was even better! Paige was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Even with a large table she was always checking in with me. I will return!

The food was decent. I'm not going to complain because I don't think it's fair to judge a restaurant by one meal. I would have liked the service to be a little better and I would have liked them to have more knowledge of their actual menu but I will try this place again. The ambiance was very nice.

It seemed online like a cool spot to eat dinner. Unfortunately the food was terrible and took an hour to get it to our table.

We were staying at the Renaissance Pere Marquette hotel in NOLA. The Tacklebox restaurant is associated with the hotel. Their food was (for a hotel or a standalone restaurant) really quite good! The Voodoo shrimp app was excellent, the Smashburger was very good (though my friend found out he didn't love pimentos in the cheese!). The Redfish St. Charles entree was good, though a bit overcooked. Definitely happy with it and the prices were extremely fair. If you get a chance, hit their Happy Hour - the prices are great and the quality is very good. Had a bottle of wine for $43 included in the price below. Cat and Sam are both great. Cheers!

Preferably calm and comfortable.
As I am a visitor from abroad, I chose American steak which I am always looking forward when visiting the US. Very impressive as volume and very wonderful as taste.
