They need to update their hours online when I get there. They were closed, but online, it's said it was open

Classic dishes were good, and the three times I’ve been there, someone has ordered a Reuben and Reubens have been excellent!

I ordered the 1/2 hot sausage po-boy with gumbo, and I have to say it was delicious! It was well seasoned and had a hint of spiciness, which is exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely come back next time āœØļø

Wonderful gumbo, andouille and chicken. With sopping bread. Barbecued shrimp poboys. Great Abita Beer. We'll be back.

It's one of those great NOLA neighborhood restaurants! Must haves include the BBQ shrimp poor boy and the garlic oyster poor boy.

Fabulous food trumps run down ish atmosphere. That’s New Orleans. It keeps out the fluty tooties. Gumbo was wonderful. Roast beef poboy outstanding. Hope they aren’t out of dessert next time. Very reasonably priced.

I’m a New Orleans native and we heard great things about this restaurant’s roast beef po-boy. Upon entering, we asked if we could order some food to go and were immediately greeted by an extremely rude waitress/ hostess who refused to let us order food to go. We decided we would just dine in since that was the only available option since they refused to allow us to order food to - go. We sat at the bar for over 15 minutes and multiple waitresses and bartenders walked by and not a single one would look at us or take our order. I will definitely tell all my friends and family who are looking for restaurants to NEVER GO HERE AND GIVE THEM BUSINESS because they were unnecessarily rude and borderline hostile. Stick with Parkway Tavern to get your po-boy fix

Staff was slow to greet and take our order. Other then that, the service improved once the orders were placed.

Food was OK. The gumbo was good and had a lot of meat. Shrimp po boy was average.

Been a long-time customer here but lately the food's been up and down. The previously delicious black-peppery gumbo had a few large shrimp in it but they were chewy and tasteless, not like the normally sweet gulf shrimp. Shrimp in the poboy were the same. Sad for our trusted neighborhood place.

This spot was awesome! So glad we tried it! Staff were super friendly and down to earth. Loved the atmosphere. Get the BBQ shrimp it's their signature meal - it's a soupy delicious po-boy packed with tender shrimp. We also had a cup of gumbo and the half po-boy option. Gumbo had a good roux, with some hot suace it was great! You can get a big beer served in what we were calling a chalice. Huge cup lol! Definitely would go back!
