Cafe Degas is a dream come true despite bad weather and technical issues. The hosts and servers are calm, professional, and courteous. The Saffron Tom Collins, French onion soup, lump crab salad, and shrimp and Grits are to die for. The staff handles credit card and service issues with ease. While table service may lack attention at times, the food, like the antipasta platter, grilled pompano, and steak frites, remains outstanding.
