To say we were disappointed with our experience at Longitude 90 in Le Meridien New Orleans would be a colossal understatement. This was, hands down, one of the worst room service experiences we’ve ever had, and the complete disregard for basic standards was astonishing.
After ordering a simple meal of bread pudding and French fries, we waited a ridiculous 45 minutes for the food to crawl its way to our room. I had to call the front desk myself just to find out why such a simple order was taking so absurdly long. When it finally arrived, I was genuinely floored by the state it was in — not just poor, but downright insulting.
The bread pudding was nothing short of an abomination, arriving in a sloppy, “soupy” mess that didn’t even resemble what we ordered. But that wasn’t even the worst part. The caramel sauce from the pudding had spilled all over the box of fries (which was supposed to be separate), turning our French fries into a sticky, soggy disaster. Clearly, the packaging was done with all the care and expertise of a blindfolded amateur. And to add to the insult, we received NO plates, just a brown paper bag and sad little styrofoam containers that looked like they came from a bargain-bin deli.
This was not just bad service — it was a total rip-off. We paid a premium to stay at this hotel, yet Longitude 90 served up what might as well have been cafeteria scraps. There’s no excuse for this kind of shoddy service and lack of basic attention to detail. We felt completely dismissed as guests, as though no one cared at all about the quality or experience.
In short, save your money and your appetite — Longitude 90’s room service is overpriced garbage. This experience has made me question ever staying here again. Le Meridien and Longitude 90 should be absolutely ashamed. Avoid at all costs.

I ordered a steak for $24 and when I picked up my steak was three slices of meat thrown into a plastic container of on a bed of scales potato chips. Nasty. Also didn't think anyone could mess up bread pudding but they did. Tasted old, rubbery and similar to a hockey puc.

We had a bad experience this morning waiting to be served and ended up going across the street to Mother's Restaurant. The waitress was rude in her explanation. Please train you staff to offer apologies regarding delays instead of smart responses.
They have such an ill manned staff, rude and rough behavior. The staff need customer service training.

Located in le Meridian, this is supposed to be a luxury Marriott brand but would never have guessed. Understaffed… so expect a counter service experience and go get your drinks yourself. The place was freezing, dirty and just plain disappointing. A poor excuse for a luxury brand experience.
The bartender (bald white guy) was incompetent and rude. Professionalism and customer service was lacking big time. In agreement with the other comment.
The services of bartenders should be improved.
Staying at the Meridien, we were tired and decided to check out the bar food rather than find a restaurant nearby. Knowing so much about the food in New Orleans, we thought that bar food could not measure up. Were we wrong!! The food was excellent, I had a grilled provolone and mushroom sandwich with fries. My friend had the Louisiana crab cakes. Both were excellent!! And the service was amazing. Granted when we arrived, the bar was full and the staff was slammed. (Obviously other people have discovered the food.) But as the bar cleared, we were fortunate to have Garrett make us feel welcome and cared for. (We were already eating, no one ignored us.) Today I am sorry to be leaving New Orleans, what a friendly, welcoming, great place to visit.and the Meridien hotel, including the bar, is among the best.
