The absolutely worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in NOLA.
We were staying at The Barnett and decided to do breakfast here as a perk with our status.
As we walked into the cafe I informed an employee (who later ended up being our server) that we wanted to do breakfast and he just pointed at the register without saying a word.
We made our way to the register and began to order. I informed the gentleman that I wanted to do two separate bills charged to our rooms. He then made this gesture of as if it was such a huge inconvenience for him to do so. That instantly turned us off but we decided to proceed anyway.
We ordered our coffees which were completely disgusting. The baristas are not trained because our drinks were extremely acidic. Even with milk and sugar. The steak was dry as well.
We decided to go back a second day and yet again, the same attitude. The employees here are not warm or welcoming at all.
With that said, if you are looking for a pleasant NOLA welcome and some southern hospitality, please look elsewhere because you won’t find it here.

We gave this cafe two chances for breakfast during our stay, but the service was consistently disappointing. Both times, the staff made us feel like an inconvenience. If you are looking for friendly service and a good cup of coffee, I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

Kevin and Sofia were my cashiers and they were so helpful and encouraging. The drink i got was the Galactic Latte with dark rum and raspberry. I added some sugar in cuz i like it sweet lol but ill definitely come back

Worst latte ive ever had. It tasted sour and I was sick for hours after drinking it. The breakfast crossaint was pretty good and seemed fresh. Some of the staff was nice but the lady who took my order was passive aggressive. They brought me a to go box when I asked for one, so that is not an issue, but I definitely won't be back for coffee

Today's experience was completely opposite of yesterday's. Today there was no smile, courteousness and you definitely did not feel welcome or appreciated to be there. Yesterday's to go order came in a bag with a napkin and silverware , today is came in just the to-go container with nothing else. At least the food was still good!
The staff were very friendly but do not waste your money on coffee here!! Spent $7 on an iced vanilla latte. My first thought was that something in it was expired. Someone else said “acidic” in their review, which is a great word to describe it. I took one sip of mine and immediately threw it away.

Unfortunately the baristas are not trained to make coffee properly. The coffee is highly acidic and undrinkable. We ran into multiple guests with the same issue across several days of staying at the hotel. Additionally, the pastry we were sold was hard and stale. We advised both the hotel and the coffee shop so hopefully they will take the time to train the baristas to rectify the situation so the hotel guests can feel comfortable with their experience.
