We went for dinner. Had 8 PM reservation and were seated immediately with view of the kitchen so we could watch the chefs preparing the food. We were seated near the rear of the restaurant, and there was a large rehearsal dinner seated in a room close by that was very noisy. Once they left the noise level dropped and was very nice. The food was wonderful as was the service. Would definitely go back again. 
Update ‐ October 2025: Whenever we come to New Orleans, a stop at Luke is a must. For our anniversary this year, we stopped in for happy hour (our time of choice) and ordered the normal rabbit and chicken liver path, which has an upgrade in presentation. My oysters came with labels so I could keep track of which ones I liked the most. I tried a door#three at the suggestion of Corey, and it was delicious. The service was good, but the food was average at best. I visited for dinner. I had the duck, it was cooked well and seasoned well. The rice was a little over cooked but well seasoned. I mistakenly ordered the jumbo lump crab, calling this a side is is an insult to sides. I requested on the side, when it arrived about is about 2 tablespoons of crab submersed in butter. I would not recommend.
