The staff are very welcoming and the local specialties are excellent. A grande dame of a dining room.
Beautiful restaurant and everyone was so nice from the moment we entered. Our poor server was working so hard, I think she was the one there, so it's not her fault, but the service was a bit slow. The food was fantastic, it wasn't described clearly so we were surprised with what we got, but again it was delicious. I would definitely recommend visiting the M bistro.
We always try to experience the Ritz when traveling even if we are not staying at the property. We’ve always had a pleasant experience everywhere we’ve been and this is the first time we are left heartbroken.
Unfortunately, the M Bistro was not up to Ritz standard like we are used to. Service was just good, servers need more training about menu and interactions with guests.
The food was nothing special, very basic, lacked seasoning, just not tasteful. Ordered oysters, had to return because they were not fresh. We were extremely disappointed and will not be coming back.
We went for the NOWFE dinner and it was absolutely outstanding! All the dishes were delectable and beautiful!
Top class service here. My wife and I went here for dinner one night and I have to say this was one of the best filet mignons I've ever had. I ordered medium rare and they hit the temperature perfect along with an incredible sear and the sauce made it one of the best steaks I've ever had in my life. The whipped potatoes were wonderful and my wife really enjoyed her shrimp and grits. We ended the night with fresh beignets that were much better than the room service version as they were airy and hot when they arrived making them true New Orleans deserts. The ambiance of the dining room was authentic New Orleans, as they enhance the space by using its already natural appeal. 5 stars as even if I weren't staying here, I'd come just to get that filet from M Bistro again. Service was also top notch; drinks were always full and plates cleared as soon as we were finished.
Food was excellent along with the service. The location of the restaurant next to the lounge made the noise level a little loud.
Wonderful Saturday evening dinner. our reservations were at 6:30 and the restaurant was quite slow at that time. It did get much busier by 8 o'clock. Wonderful live music going on in the bar next to the restaurant. it does make for some noise but nothing like the noise the music makes in other restaurants in New Orleans. would definitely go back
entrees poor quality- both taken off bill. Drinks and appetizers great. Eat elsewhere.... very disappointing. As a local you get one chance. Guess why the restaurant was empty. Ritz Carlton should do better.
It was just OK. My husband's $65 NY strip steak was overcooked and bland. The seafood gumbo was good. The redfish was pretty good, but nothing special.
One should expect live music in NOLA, but one should not expect to pay top dollar for dinner and not be able to hear the people speaking at your own table. Ears ringing was about all you could hear. Service was also lacking. I understand that people need to gain experience, but we had shared plates brought out with no small plates to eat the food off of, we had 7 wine glasses that went unused never removed from the table (so I removed them), we had the server move our silverware and plates aside to put the tray on the table to serve us our drinks, we waited nearly 40 minutes to order, and we had our coffee brought out 20 minutes after dessert. The food was excellent, but I would never spend that kind of money again there.

I took my sisters there for their birthdays. The staff was excellent. A special shout out to Luna who was very accommodating. The food was great and the music was a nice touch!
What a treat to have this wonderful restaurant attached to our hotel. We are staying at the Marriott French Quarter and this restaurant is in the Ritz Carlton. It offers room service to Marriott customers which was fantastic yesterday. Today we went to the restaurant and was taken care of by Pamela. She was amazing, friendly and full of life. From the moment we walked in the people were friendly and the food was out of this world great 😊 looking forward to another meal here and will request Pamela if she is working.
Unfortunately, our Mother's Day brunch at M Bistro fell short of expectations, especially given the Ritz-Carlton name and a bill close to $600. The food lacked freshness and flavor, and overall, the experience did not reflect the level of quality and attention to detail one would anticipate from this brand. A missed opportunity on what should have been a special occasion.
We chose M Bistro because it is within walking distance of the Saenger Theatre. It's great if you are staying in the hotel, but it is not a destination restaurant. We found it just okay, so we will not return. Our server, Gabby, was the best part of our experience.
We chose M Bistro because it is walking distance to the Saenger Theatre. It's great if you are staying in the hotel but it is not a destination restaurant. We found it just okay so we will not return. It is a hotel restaurant which means it is below par for New Orleans restaurants.
