Great breakfast. The Crab Cake Benedict was delicious and the Pancakes were picture perfect.

Had a small snag as they didn't show our reservation when we arrived but were able to seat us with no problem. This was our birthday celebration so was glad they accommodated as we booked long ago. The food we had was superb....shrimp & grits..and salmon. Luna was our server and she couldn't have been more helpful. Sincerely helpful thru out the evening. Stayed to listed to Jeremy Davenport.

Very mid and expensive restaurant for dinner. The pot pie was good, but the Caesar salad and bbq shrimp and grits were pretty bad and almost inedible

We had a wonderful experience celebrating my husband's birthday. The team made it truly special—our table was beautifully prepared with a white cloth, the service was outstanding, and the food was exceptional. The live music was perfectly balanced, creating such a pleasant atmosphere. An excellent experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

We went for dinner and unfortunately, the food was not nearly good enough for the price we paid.

The venue was beautiful and the atmosphere was perfect for a date, with low lighting in the dining room and small lights at the table. Our waitress was wonderful, too. It was just the food (one salmon dish, one gulf fish dish) that didn’t live up to expectations.

Oh, and the fact that we got $10 for a glass of water wasn’t cool either…

The food and customer service is great. I think this is one of the best hotel restaurants Ive been to. Everything on the menu taste wonderful. The restaurant is part of the reason I stay at the Ritz every time Im in town. Best gumbo in New Orleans. The Chef is amazing.

We had a wonderful breakfast! However, the real shining star was our server. I wish I could remember her name, she was absolutely amazing. This woman loves her job and it shows in her work. We will definitely be back next time we are in New Orleans.

Our table was in the area next to the Davenport lounge, which was a 5-piece brass jazz band, who were very good, but it was a bit loud for dinner. We both ordered the specials which was gulf redfish. It was overcooked and too much “slop” on top of it. For New Orleans cuisine it was not well seasoned. Our server was young and I think there was a slight language barrier. Overall it was good but not great. For the money, I wish we had eaten elsewhere. The Ritz is always nice place to stay but this midweek, it was off its game.

We ate at the M Bistro for dinner and breakfast, and weren't particularly blown away. If you're staying at the hotel, it works, but it is in no way a restaurant you should go out of your way to try when in New Orleans; there are far better options. Skip this one if you aren't staying at the hotel, or if you'd like a memorable experience and top-notch food.

The ambience is lovely at dinner, everything is dimmed, and a small lamp is placed on each table to give the restaurant a more intimate vibe. The service was friendly and attentive. This is a fine dining restaurant, so expect premium prices. You are gently encouraged to dress a little bit nicer than daily wear, but not quite formal wear. I had the Salmon, it was just ok. The oysters are tiny, but good. The wedge salad and its house dressing were delicious. It was my birthday when staying here, so they brought out a nice treat, a strawberry bread pudding, which was very appreciated, and the best thing I had that evening.

Breakfast was better; it's usually a buffet, but the hotel was at low occupancy when we were there, so no buffet. I had a yogurt parfait, a side of breakfast potatoes, and a glass of pineapple juice. The parfait was extremely good, and the breakfast potatoes were perfectly seasoned and were a very big portion, far bigger than a normal side size. The pineapple juice was good, but it wasn't that cold when served. The NOLA breakfast (eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes) was also good; everything was cooked well, and again was all great portions. I wish I could remember our waitress's name, as she was extremely kind and was a great start to our day. She was very attentive and a pleasure to talk to.

It's a fine restaurant and the food is still good, but it doesn't match the price tag. It's just an average, skippable experience.

Our server, Kirk, was the most gracious picture of excellent hospitality. He was amazing. Our food was excellent and the wine prefect. Truly an enchanting experience.

The staff are very welcoming and the local specialties are excellent. A grande dame of a dining room.

Beautiful restaurant and everyone was so nice from the moment we entered. Our poor server was working so hard, I think she was the one there, so it's not her fault, but the service was a bit slow. The food was fantastic, it wasn't described clearly so we were surprised with what we got, but again it was delicious. I would definitely recommend visiting the M bistro.

We always try to experience the Ritz when traveling even if we are not staying at the property. We’ve always had a pleasant experience everywhere we’ve been and this is the first time we are left heartbroken.
Unfortunately, the M Bistro was not up to Ritz standard like we are used to. Service was just good, servers need more training about menu and interactions with guests.

The food was nothing special, very basic, lacked seasoning, just not tasteful. Ordered oysters, had to return because they were not fresh. We were extremely disappointed and will not be coming back.
