Maïs Arepas is a trendy spot perfect for a date night or casual dining. The Colombian cuisine is delicious, with well-presented dishes that redefine expectations. The servers are attentive and quick, making the experience enjoyable. The atmosphere is great for groups, allowing everyone to try different dishes. The empanadas were gone in a flash, and the arepas were divine goodness, flavorful and satisfying. The Cerda arepa and beef arepa with spicy aji were highlights, with tender meat and bold flavor. The fish ceviche was absolutely amazing and the freshest bite. The passion fruit juice and other fruit juices are super refreshing and a must-try. The ensalada dressing was a little on the spicy side. It's a great place if you need gluten free food and like Colombian food, offering a great time with delicious food, awesome vibes, and prices on point.
The pollo griliao and the maiz de la rueda were to die for, so flavorful and juicy. The fresh passion fruit juice was delicious. The yuca frita and limeade were the best. The copitas de cangrejo appetizer was so fresh. The cubana arepa and the costillas de cerdo (pork short ribs) were amazing. The service could be improved, as there were some issues with utensils, plates, and feeling rushed, but the food was worth it.
