Mandina's Restaurant Reviews
They took our reservation name down wrong. We told them the party under Koen. They wrote down Karen. They put 8 of us in a room with a party of up to 40 people celebrating a 60th birthday party. By Far the best food we have eaten here in New Orleans so far!! Highly recommend! There were 6 of us and every one of us loved our plates. They have a variety to choose from and the portion sizes are huge! Not to mention the great service! The waiters and waitress are the best!!! If you’re here in New Orleans don’t miss out!!
My first time eating here and the steak was wonderful 😋. Best I've eaten in a long time. Great restaurants with great drinks 🍸

Mandina's Restaurant is a popular spot in New Orleans, known for its excellent food and generous portions. The restaurant offers a variety of classic New Orleans dishes, including gumbo, red beans and rice, and Italian sausage with meatballs. Customers often enjoy the fresh bread, calamari, onion rings, crab fingers with wine sauce, shrimp lemonade, and the famous po'boy sandwiches. The restaurant has a wheelchair-accessible ramp at the front door, making it easier to get in. Parking can be challenging, especially when it is busy. Visitors and locals alike appreciate the delicious meals, with many dishes like chicken parmesan, fish and shrimp platter, grilled catfish, grilled shrimp, and stuffed shrimp receiving praise. The service is highly recommended, and reservations are suggested, especially on busy nights, to avoid long waits. While the wait can sometimes be long, the old-school New Orleans atmosphere and complimentary buttered and toasted French bread upon arrival make it worth the visit. Customers also enjoy the open-faced roast beef and veal parmesan, praising the tender meat and large portions. Overall, Mandina's is a great local place with excellent food and service, and many customers plan to return whenever they are in New Orleans.
