Service is terrible. Used to be an amazing place. I miss the old owners. They switched owners about 2 years ago. Current owner/server is so rude - Jack. I’ve never had a pleasant interaction with this guy as in every interaction I’ve had makes me never want to go back. There are better places around that deserve more business than this place.

The sausage biscuit is the best in town and the pastries are just okay, but sadly the owner is extremely rude and uninviting.

I had a good experience at the Maple Street Patisserie. Maybe because I wandered in at the same time as a local who recommended the carrot muffin to me. It was moist and sweet.

Jack is always lovely and the food is beyond good, never disappoints. 100% worth checking out if you’re near (or far). Muffins are always perfect, and the danishes.

Amazing discovery! A friend gave me a gift card for this place and I discovered gold! Delicious pasteries and breads I’ve seen nowhere else. The master baker is Polish and studied all over Europe. You can tell! The blueberry scone was the absolute best I’ve ever eaten. Light, flavorful, fresh. Just perked up my tastebuds . Jack, the manager, is friendly and helpful. Stop by!
I went in an asked for a challah. They had challah which is great. The man asked me if I wanted raisin or plain. I told him that I wanted plain he told me it was hard to tell sometimes. He handed me a challah. I told him it looked like raisin. He assured me it was plain. I got home and it was raisin. Raisins are just pretty gross. Not sure why people even like raisin challah but that’s a conversation for another time and place.
Pastries were just ok. I travel for a living and love to stop at local bakeries. So Im comparing their shop to many other in and outside NOLA.The vanilla chocolate muffin was nothing more than boxed cake mix. Cream cheese puff passable. Tasted old and very little filling.
Please update your hours on your profile when closed for vacation. I was very disappointed to travel across town to find you were closed.
Lovely local bakery with a friendly, attentive gentleman behind the counter. We added a donut to our order at the last minute and can confirm it is the best glazed donut in the city. We'll be back!
We love this neighborhood gem. Fantastic selection of pastries, both savory and sweet. Come support an amazing local business!

If you’re black stay out of here. Very racist toward me and shouted me right out the door! I will never step foot in here again let alone spend a dime here!
We live a few blocks from this place and finally decided to give it a try. Great location and great looking pastries. Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed... We ordered the lemon coconut cake and some sort of chocolate cake. They were a few days old as we could taste the refrigeration on them. The cake was hard and the filling was not the mouse we expected as most European cakes. It was more like a butter cream filling. We definitely plan to go back and try again. We like to support local businesses and everybody deserves a second chance. :)
I walked into this establishment for the first time about 20 minutes ago. I’ve lived in New Orleans for 16 years but I’m new to this neighborhood and my girlfriend raved about their pastries. Always happy to support a local business, I opted for this over the mega chain across the street. I will literally never step foot in this place again. The older man working the counter was so incredibly rude to me, I refused to order and left empty handed. What a shame. Many reviews speak to similar experiences.
I have never written a review, but I absolutely love this place! I discovered it about two weeks ago, and I have returned regularly since then. I am extremely picky about pastries, but I don't have a single complaint about this place. The quality of Maple Street Patisserie's food is evident with every bite. Their biscuits are perfectly cloud-like and fluffy. Their donuts are scrumptious without being overly sweet. I could go on and on about this place. Today, I accidentally stumbled in thirty minutes after closing, craving a jalapeño sausage croissant (absolutely delectable by the way--100/10 recommend). The lovely person that usually works the front counter went back reopened the store and heated me up the croissant I wanted. This is just one example of how Maple Street Patisserie goes above and beyond for their customers. You won't find better pastries or service in New Orleans. If you find yourself in the area, you must stop by! You won't regret it.
Very expensive & not good!! The Cherry Turnover was dry & not fresh… The Cinnamon Roll you could get in any grocery store. Over $8 for the two items!!! Also the bathroom has been out of order since Covid… All unacceptable !!!
