The food is very good. The service is awesome. The ambience is a typical bar, but some of the best smash burgers in the city. They only take cash.

The waiter/person who took my order was great, and when i asked for a vegan burger, he made sure to ask how i wanted the burger, if i wanted vegan cheese or not, if i wanted the order to be completely vegan or vegetarian... the burger was so delicious, i had to check if it was actually vegan. the fries were hot and fresh (so was the burger) and not greasy at all. i will definitely visit again. Only note is that when you enter, the Slap burger kitchen is to the right, and there is a tabletop counter with some stools, and a window to order, a pick-up window that gives a view of the cooks cooking while you wait. Only cash seems to be accepted at the bar for now. but Slap burger takes both form of payments.

We went into Marie's Bar & Kitchen for The Original Smash Burger. The burger was delicious and we ended up sitting in the bar and having drinks. I definitely recommend.

The lady was just very rude and racist. As soon as I walked in I was targeted and had to leave, because I simply did not like how the lady was speaking to me. It seemed as if she was trying to use whatever power she has to speak down on me, and it was completely unnecessary. Customer service will always be an important part to buying a meal. I hope someone reads this and tells that lady about herself. Seeing cigarettes in the vending and seeing that the dogs (inside the bar) were given a better welcome than me, told me everything I need to know.

Best fast food in New Orleans! Some of the best food period! Went there after looking for places open late at night, and was pleasantly surprised by this place. Def a hole in the wall, but a diamond in the rough as well. Had the vegan GF burger and I couldn’t believe the buns were GF. Normally, any GF bread tastes like a salty sponge, but this almost had this buttery croissant-like consistency. It was better than regular bread honestly. Cannit recommend it highly enough!Dietary restrictions: Best GF and vegan food in New Orleans, no contest.
