Great spot that a lot of people come to regularly. The batter was crispy and the fish was high quality, but it didn’t seem like they seasoned anything so that is something that can be improved.
SO JUICY! Consensus is this is the best fried chicken this group of 6 has ever had. The McHardy’s Bourbon sauce can’t be missed, and the Mango Habanero and Jerk sauces are also a must try. The fried okra was excellent. The staff were kind, attentive, helpful, and fab! Can’t wait to come back!! 11/10
McHardy's is arguably one of the top three fried chicken spots in town; it’s sometimes our favorite. However, I'm deducting one star for inconsistency.
Tip: Call in your order 30 minutes before you pick it up.
On our most recent visit, Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, around 3:30-4 PM, we waited 40 minutes for two chicken breasts and sides. Fried chicken usually takes 20 minutes when cooked to order, and they were busy with customers waiting.
