My friend and I came for dinner on a Thursday night, and we had a great time. There was a very relaxed vibe with great ambience and it wasn't too busy. I ordered the Garden Gimlet to start and loved the combination of citrus and poblano. For our entrees, I ordered the French Onion Grilled Cheese and my friend had the Crab Gnocchi special. The sandwich was so cheesy, perfectly toasted, with rich braised beef inside. It also comes with a nice refreshing salad. The portion sizes were very large, we both had plenty to take home. The service was also very welcoming and attentive! I will definitely be back, especially to give happy hour a try!

The atmosphere of Meauxbar drew me in! I almost don't want to post a review because I want to keep this great place to myself. It's quaint, upscale and moody. My kind of vibe.My friend said her meal was the best fish she's ever had and ate her entire portion, which she hardly ever does. As a vegetarian, I didn't spot anything on the menu. The chef was so accommodating, came out to the table and asked for my preferences. He delivered a nice, custom grilled veggie plate. I love chefs like this!

Meauxbar is our go to place for dinner, their staff is so incredibly amazing (Jillian, Dwayne, Lindsey and Adam, just to name a few). The food is so creative and delicious, and we are treated like royalty every time we are there. You have to try the deviled eggs, beef tartar and chicken liver pate for appetizers, their Steak & Frites, French Onion Grilled Cheese, and daily Yaka-mein are out of this world, and any of their desserts are a must. I'm especially impressed with the way they are handling operations during COVID, pre ordering cocktails and appetizers when you get there, limited contact, delivering utensils, glasses, etc. on a tray. It's all brilliant.

Third time I’ve eaten here, previous times were better. The fried calamari was coated in salt, the steak frites was coated in salt. The servers were preoccupied with their phones and had to be flagged down anytime we needed anything. Seems like nobody was trying last night. The cocktails were decent.

One of my top locations for quality French food. Mood here reminds me of San Diego's scene.

Our waitress Gillian was AMAZING and makes the best drinks in the world. This is a must hit when coming to Nola. Whether you are going for dinner or only going for drinks I would recommend getting the duck fat popcorn. It’s out of this world. LA Gulf Fish Amandine is one of my favorite dishes there

My husband and I hunted down this restaurant specifically for the Yal-A-Mein. We were staying in an Airbnb only a few blocks away and saw this restaurant listed on eater and with this convenient location we thought it was worth a try! We are so glad that we went! We walked in on a Friday around 5 o'clock without a reservation. They were able to sit us at a table but also had a few open spots at the bar as well. The atmosphere was Gothic with classy revival and had a very cool modern New Orleans vibe.We ordered the bone marrow appetizer that I think was around $15 and the Yak-A-Mein was 18 I believe. My husband lived in China for two years and has become a total Asian foodie and he was absolutely in love with the Yal-A-Mein. Saw where there was a happy hour menu listed as well with several of the appetizers highly discounted and a list of cocktails for five dollars. My husband had a Moscow Mule which he thought it tasted great and I had a drink that resembled a martini and it was great as well. Both drinks for five dollars which I thought was amazing price for a hand crafted cocktail especially in New Orleans.Or wait staff was knowledgeable and friendly and the restaurant was well staffed and clean. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone especially if you need a day after too much fun cure!

Among our favorite menus AND environments in New Orleans, I’ve twice seen this restaurant stay open to feed hungry people during natural disasters when most other dining options were closed. That’s why we always eat at MeauxBar at least once per NOLA visit, and it never disappoints.

This was the second time in two years going to this restaurant. The second visit was as enjoyable as the first. Local neighborhood bistro, with excellent food with a wonderful, attentive wait staff. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Very pleasant, low key, candlelit paneled room. Marble bar. Somewhat conventional NOLA menu, but very good food.
