We stopped in for a mid day breakfast after sleeping in real late. So glad we waited. The breakfast sandwiches were hot and fresh, and the chef knows how to perfectly cook eggs. Creamiest grits I have ever eaten! I wish I had more stars to give. Myra’s service and smile made our day.

Breakfast was lack luster. Home potatoes tasted like just plain boiled potatoes, mushy and tasteless. Toast was burnt.

High priced for less than mediocre food..

The star of the breakfast was the home fries. Decent bloody Mary.

Sadly our return after 5 years was a let down with poor service. Food was still pretty good at least. Won't be back any time soon.

Means was an awesome little spot to have lunch. Took advantage of the Friday lunch specials which were both delicious.

Started with some salads and moved right into the better stuff.

Red beans and sausage over rice with fried chicken. 10/10 meal. The dark meat chicken was so juicy and melt in your mouth.

Shrimp creole over rice. This was really good but the red beans and rice stole the show.

We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday based on reviews. Pretty busy but we were able to get a table. Staff were very friendly and prices were reasonable considering the location. The boudin ball appetizer was good - two huge pieces. Red beans and rice with fried chicken (daily special) was a favorite. Be warned the prices posted outside are lower than what's in the menu inside.

Great find for all kinds of breakfast dishes. All my plates were left clean. The home fries with cheese and Cajun Smoked Pork Tasso was delicious.
