I’m not sure what happened, but this place has gone majorly downhill in the last few months. I live in the neighborhood and this was one of my favorite spots. Then a little bit ago they changed the menu (including getting rid of some of my favorite items), and since then it’s been a huge disappointment. The pizza is usually undercooked and just generally unremarkable. Used to be some of the best pizza in New Orleans, now is probably more akin to what you’d get on Bourbon Street. Make sure you read the more recent reviews because any from more than a couple months ago are no longer accurate.

Arrived to pick up my pizza only to be told that they did not have pepperoni tonight (what pizza place runs out of pepperoni?) and that because I ordered online through Chownow on their web site, they had no way to communicate with me. I asked that they switch it to sausage and sat down to wait for the pizza. I waited 30 minutes with no acknowledgment or update from the staff, so I finally asked how much longer it would be. I was told "let me check" then nothing for another 10 minutes before I was told that the pizza was being boxed up but that they hadn't put the mozzarella sticks in yet. I received the pizza then continued to wait for the mozzarella sticks, only to see her hand me a box that had been sitting on the counter for at least 10 minutes. All in I sat and waited for 45 minutes, only to get home and find that the both the pizza and mozzarella sticks were cold and both had definitely been sitting for some time.On top of the poor service and handling of the situation, the food was below the usual standard of Mid City Pizza. Flour on the bottom as if it had just been pulled from a bag of flour, to the point that flour was the most prominent taste. Disappointed to see this place going downhill as we had been fans and ordered from here regularly.

This was my second time giving them a shot and unfortunately was disappointed yet again. I order 2 pizzas and chicken wings online and was told they're be ready in an hour. I arrived after an hour and ultimately had to wait ANOTHER hour to finally get the pizza. It was an extremely busy night for them so somewhat excusable, but then the food turned out to be terrible. The wings were soggy even though the sauce was given on the side and the pizza was severely undercooked and barely had any sauce. I mean the veggies were raw and the crust was blonde. I ended up putting slices into my oven at home on 500 degrees to salvage them. Bummer because I really wanted to like them this second time. Much better options in town though so likely won't be back.

Sunday night in New Orleans for a conference. Son #3, DIL, and grandchild #6 picked me up for a pizza at Mid-city. DIL had picked it because #6 doesn't eat pizza but this place had chicken nuggets. BTW he ATE them! We got wings for an appetizer and the Supreme Pizza. Had plenty to bring home. And it was fabulous!!! Great atmosphere inside and on the porch. Will definitely go back.

I’ve tried this place now twice and I just can’t justify the cost for the lack of service and disorganization at the store. I will spend my money elsewhere when it comes to pizza as there are some other great spots in the city that deliver on not only the pizza but the customer service.

What a cluster. Such a disappointing experience after seeing so many positive reviews. We ordered a pizza, salad, and wings. The wings (finally) arrived after we were almost ready to close out our tab (30 minutes into the meal!). They were overly breaded and not worth the wait! The staff seemed very disorganized. While we were waiting, another gentleman tried to pay for a beer he had, and the staff of three could not figure it out. Our heads were spinning by the end of this meal. For an $80 dinner, it was Not worth the price of admission. So disappointing.

Cool, funky neighborhood bistro. If you’re going to order a pizza anywhere you should get it here. The crust and the toppings are perfect. I’m a huge fan of the thin crust pizza. I had the Caprese salad and it was loaded with extra slices of basil. That made me very happy. Our bartender showed us her creativity with some strange concoction that had basil, lemonade and vodka, but after my second one it wasn’t strange anymore. I’m gonna be hanging out here a lot.

Best pizza in the city. You can taste the love! Always a fun vibe in the store. Highly recommend. (Super cold beer as well).

Look no further for an awesome New York style slice. Lots of options, but we always go with a classic pepperoni pie. Open late, great to go but also fun in person. What more can I say?

New favorite pizza spot. Hot sausage topping is delicious. I paired it with pepperoni roasted chicken and jalapeños. It was the best. I highly recommend. Also staff was amazing and super friendly. I forgot to take a picture it was so good LOL

Surprisingly enough a contender for the best pizza in Nola. We have the meat pizza and it was divine with the highlight being the Terranova Italian Sausage, omfg was that great. The crust is thin and crispy and the service was great. We will be back.

Excellent pizza. Pretty close to pizza from NY. If you like thin crust pizza this could be the place for you.

Ordered a pizza tonight and it had no sauce on it… I kid you not… disappointing for sure as I love their pizza sauce ):

Great environment! Great neighborhood pizza. I had the "supreme". I am giving 5 stars because I had a great experience and the pizza was great.

Wonderful pizza place right around the corner from where we were staying! I think this was the only place we visited twice during our visit! Pizza is delicious, with excellent crust to topping ratios. Chicken wings were great, just the right amount of heat in the Buffalo sauce. Great drink/beer selection and lots of specials. Service was friendly and attentive.
