Place was good enough physically, music players very talented! But the one guy working behind the bar was a flog! Asked for money before even giving us our first drinks. I questioned him as we weren’t planning on closing out immediately. And he shouted over the music “give me money”. Left a sour taste in my mouth. A shame that one guy can ruin the whole vibe. Probably would’ve spent a while here if it weren’t for his poor attitude. Lady behind the bar was however friendly...
Absolutely a great time!!!The ambiance was casual and welcoming.The pianos took song requests and played them fast. Amazing talent and audience interaction.The best for me was that the bar tender (I wish I remembered his name) saw that my mom and I were uncomfortable with another patron and how he was acting towards us. He noticed immediately, handled the incident very inconspicuously, and really made us feel so safe. And he served good drinks and was super nice and friendly...
Great bar with live music. 1 drink minimum and you get to hear some great music. There's a $40 stage fee if you want to play or sing with the band which we paid and it allowed me to get on stage and play the piano. Pricey but Cool experience. Definitely the highlight of my trip to NOLA. Yours truly on the piano.
