I usually get the lo mein. It's a bit wet but the flavor is totally unbeatable. From the gumbo to the hamburger steak and the shrimp... Everything is good. Great portions at great prices.
I've been eating here for years, and the consistently friendly service and excellent food keep me coming back. Their lo-mein is unbeatable, and the grilled catfish and pork chops are also fantastic. It might not be a 5-star spot, but it’s definitely a great find.
Google says open until 7 so we went at 5:30, arrived to see the sign stating closed at 6 and we were happy we didn't wait until 6 like originally planned. We went for the shrimp po'boy that was highly recommended to us but when we tried to order it we were told the kitchen closes at 4!? She had food in a steam table and it was 2 sides and 1 main for $12. So we went with it. Since the kitchen closed at 4 we knew the food had been sitting. In the end it was warm and...
