Kinda hidden since it’s a lobby area. But the service was great and the beignets were good! The coffee was okay.

Waited in line for 20 minutes behind three other people. Never made progress. Gave up and left in exasperation. It wasn’t even busy.

My first beignet! And they did justice. My first full day in NOLA start off here and they did not disappoint. Service was great and the food was better.

This place is so beautiful. It's so lit up. The doors are open. It's like being in France or something. I enjoyed every bit of it. The beignets were good. They were soft, they were fluffy. They tasted good. The staff was amazing. They were accommodating. I would definitely recommend this. A 100 times over

Sad. Really sad. Absolute worst management ever. A coffee shop with no coffee.
9:30 am on a Saturday. Waited 10 minutes in line to learn there is no coffee.
Ask to see the manager. Her response to my question of how a coffee shop has no coffee: "I am not the one who orders the coffee beans, and we never know when in the day we will get the delivery". She said: "Well, you can get coffee almost anywhere around here." 8 customers in line after me all left when they heard there was no coffee. A better approach may have been to offer me one of the hot chocolates free or a shirt discount as a commercial gesture.
Waited 20 minutes for the beignets because the oil in the fryer had to be changed and brought up to temperature.
My advice: don't waste time with this place in the Renaissance Hotel.
Go on and walk to Café du Monde where they are sure to have coffee.
Heartbreaking experience and reflection on the service in my old hometown of the City that Care Forgot.
