Was told to get a drink and get a card for an invention to another gig. Did that and was told I wasn’t accepted by the staff, so no go! Wouldn’t have bout a beer for us two if I’d had known that. Bummer!

This is one of my absolute favorite spots in The French Quarter. The cocktails are imaginative and delicious. The food is incredible. The ambience is to die for. The staff is friendly and attentive.
The only drawbacks for creatures of the night are the ample protections against vampiric attacks. Humans should feel quite safe.

Just had an extraordinary lunch experience at the Vampire Cafe. The seafood gumbo was amazing. I had a delicious cocktail called the AB+. Every blood type has a signature cocktail which is only part of what makes a meal here not just a wonderful meal, but a truly fangtastic experience. Highly recommend.

My FAVORITE place to go every time we visit NOLA (we're from Michigan). I was never a MEAT person besides chicken, but their brisket is something I fell in love with the first time I visited and its a staple in our itinerary every time, multiple visits all week we're here. They can be busy at certain times but absolutely worth it. I swear I'm gonna pay them to ship me a few of their Vampire Burgers when I'm back home if I can lol.

Front desk guy Mike is rude as hell. No process surrounding eating or getting drinks to go.long line out the door for no reason. Completely un organized. People cutting lines and extremely long waits for blood bags. Bartender was throwing receipts in customer face who had language barriers like please do better.
Commendable that they're running an outreach employment policy for the socially anxious. It's also the kind of food place where you're just thankful you didn't spend the afternoon hunkered over the toilet.

Evelyn M had some attitude with requests that were fair like ketchup which came after we were almost done. Yes it was busy but she must not have been in service long. Nice and all but what counts is service. Wonderful wonderful food and drinks

Unfortunately, we had a very rude experience. We sat outside for 20 minutes as the male server walked by multiple times without acknowledging us. When I finally asked to order, he snapped that we should’ve spoken to the hostess first, something he could’ve told us earlier and without the attitude. Inside, we were met with the same rudeness, so we left. Really disappointing experience.

Loved this place. Ate at the very expensive and famous Antoines last night. Sssoooo not impressed. Fell onto this place on advice of a local. Loved the food, the atmosphere, the service, the neighborhood. Spent over 400.00 at Amtoines, spent just over 150 here for 2 with drinks. This place wins hands down!
The food was disappointing. The host was rude and threw a menu in my friends direction because he was mad her chair wasn’t tucked in. He was also using profane language referring to another customer right next to us. Maybe we caught him on a bad day but he was very hostile. Long wait for subpar/bland food, some of my food was cold when it was served to me . The server was very kind and I liked them. However, this place is a little overhyped.

Got on the wait list with 3 ahead of us and got a call by the kind host for our table 20 minutes later. Got seated during their busiest time and was served by the most attentive waitress with extensive knowledge of the menu. Dragula Burger was the best Burger I've ever had in my life and I've had a Gordon Ramsay burger and Holstein's in Vegas. Thank you! Cocktail O+ was delicious.

Finally got to stop by after being on my To Visit List for a while. It was pretty busy and we had to wait a bit for a table. Our server, Luka, was great. I had the gumbo and alligator poboy. I also tasted my friend's pork belly, deviled eggs, and shrimp and grits. Everything was delicious. Definitely want to stop by again and try the rest of the menu.
