Way overpriced. $24 for a hamburger. Waiter was not the least bit attentive. Had an older bald headed man. Asked if he had Coke or Pepsi and he said Coke and took off… excuse me we didn’t want Coke but Diet Coke. In such a dang hurry. Asked about a margarita on the menu. Asked for no jalapeño in it and he said it comes that way instead of saying we can make you one without it at the bar. Hamburger came with blue cheese and my husband doesn’t like blue cheese and said as much and he said ok and started to walk off. Had to call him back to say what other option is there? The other waiter there kept refilling our glasses as he could have cared less about us. If your guests don’t want or like a certain thing then suggest something different instead of saying it hats the way it is. Concept is cute but the service sucked and the food was way overpriced and just mediocre. Would never pay $24 for a dang cheeseburger. Will say the homemade chips were good. Overall, I would not waste my money here. A Coke, 2 cheeseburgers and a margarita would as $80…
We saw this restaurant on one of our tours and was extremely excited to try it out. As soon as we walked in hostess asked “are y’all eating here?” Another family walked behind she didn’t asked them the same question. Okay a little weird but it’s fine she wanted to checked in with us. (For preference my partner and I are people of color, the family behind us wasn’t) we got seated and menus right away. We waited at most 10 minutes seated. In those 10 minutes we had the same servers kept passing us up and just staring at our table. No drinks or water. As we are looking around we notice 2 families of color, ours and another family. It seemed like they were waiting for a while too. Glad to have not wasted money but sad I wasted time. Do NOT go if you are a person of color. We are not the targeted clientele! Stay safe!

We had a great experience at the Vampire Cafe. The alligator poboy was delicious and our vampire server was very attentive.

Good drinks and location. Wish there were more than 2 blood bag options.

Great service! The people here are so warm and friendly. I loved the sangria served in a blood bag — best sangria ever!

After having a reasonably good experience at the vampire apothecary, I was looking very forward to having brunch here. This was the most disappointing experience of my entire vacation. The coffee is great. The mimosa was average. The avocado toast was edible. The shrimp and grits was less than impressive. But what was truly horrific was our experience with the service. The hostess was pleasant enough seated us Without waiting very long in a corner table by the kitchen. Our server was a bald guy in glasses. He clearly did not have time for us. We saw him 3 times at our table. When we weren’t exactly sure what I wanted to drink after my partner ordered a coffee, He walked away, stating in a mumble he would give us a few minutes. When he came back to place our food order, he did not even acknowledge that I had ordered A mimosa, leaving me unsure if he’d even heard me. Eventually, did wordlessly sit down a mimosa and quickly walked away. The one saving grace was there was a very nice server. She actually ended up paying more attention to us than he did and we weren’t even her table. We saw our server for one last and final time when he delivered our food. After that, there was the nice lady that did come and check on us. She refilled my mimosa at no cost because she could tell that we were being ignored. She refilled my partners coffee. We were very, very ready to get our check, and even though our server was standing right beside us, as he was at the edge of the bar, he never acknowledged us. Finally, the nice server came over and we were able to request our check. Our server had lost our ticket. So after a few more minutes elapsed, she just reentered our order into the computer system, and printed us a new one. I hope she got the tip I left. She’s the reason this place got two stars instead of one. I would understand if we were rude or hateful, but we were very polite to our original server and to the one that actually was noticing us. In summary, check out the vampire apothecary. The drinks were good though on the expensive side. The bartenders are funny. The atmosphere there is much nicer. I would avoid the vampire Café like the plague. The speakeasy is OK. But the experience there did not justify the $20 cover charge. Do yourself a favor avoid that trap and stay at The bar you have to walk through to get to the speakeasy. It’s way more fun.

We saw the place on TikTok and were sadly pretty disappointed. The people there were nice, but it still wasn't really exceptional service (nothing bad, just wasn't really anything great either, besides that our check was wrong at first and doubled the cost of our meal before we had it fixed)
For the most part it was just disappointing, since we had high expectations. The vibe was cool and the puns were appreciated, but how busy it was and the fact that its an obvious tourist trap took away from the cozy vibe.
We were really disappointed to find bugs in BOTH of our drinks as soon as we sat down, accidents happen but in both drinks was just....offputting.
The food itself was below average. I enjoyed my meal enough, I got the vampire burger and it was cooked well despite ordering medium rare, and a few of the topping weren't listed on the menu. The chips were just fine. My partner got the chicken and waffles and the waffles were just fine while the chicken was dry, the syrup wasn't good and there was no butter which made the waffle worse by comparison as well.
We didn't have any specials drinks that they're known for or stay too long, admittedly, but overall we were disappointed with how cool the idea and vibe could've been and then got stuck with a sub par tourist trap. Sadly would not recommend.
The boutique behind it was a nice little visit though. Still a tourist thing but worth a little look, would check it out again if passing by the area
This place is so cute. I love the whole vine. We literally had lunch then read about this place. So we called around until we weren’t too full to try the blackened alligator. It was a well worth it. We did wait a while to be able to cash out, a little slow over all. But the food was good

I went here for the $125 high tea and leaf reading on June 8th that I had booked for my birthday. When my guest and I arrived, none of the staff had any knowledge of the event. Apparently, the owner forgot that the cafe was supposed to be having the event that day. This was a very disappointing experience because I had traveled an hour and thirty minutes both ways just for this. The staff was apologetic and offered free drinks, and I did receive a refund, but if you were thinking about booking anything from this place, I would strongly reconsider.

The one place our daughter wanted to spend her 21st birthday! Food was tasty but it was more the atmosphere that stole the show. Highly recommended!

Super fun - the other drinks besides the blood bags were very good, and of course you have to get a blood bag to go. It was a bit pricier than other places down in the Quarter but definitely worth a trip for the novelty! Friendly service and not too long of a wait.
