Would Not Recommend to Out-of-Towners or Anyone Expecting a Real Reservation Experience
I made a 1:00 p.m. reservation on a Saturday at Nice Guys NOLA, expecting—like anyone would—that it meant we’d have a table at that time. As an out-of-towner trying to be respectful of how busy the spot might get, I booked in advance in good faith. Imagine my surprise when we arrived and were told that our reservation was not for a table, but just to stand in a line. A long, club-style...read full review
Food is horrible! Absolutely no seasoning. Vibe 10/10! You will be asked to leave after an hour and an half no matter if you have food and drinks on the table.
This place was the worst I have visited in NO. We came on a girls trip from Houston. The food was horrible. I ordered catfish and Grits and the catfish was refried and the grits were watery. Nice Guys Nola is a lively restaurant that offers a great atmosphere and delicious food. The music and vibe are praised, creating a vibrant party-like setting. The entire place is a vibe, making it a recommended spot for brunch with friends. The food was great, came out fast and hot, with highlights like grits cooked to perfection and awesome fish and lobster. The music was very entertaining, but just a little bit too loud. Service is noted to be top tier. However, the restaurant can get quite hot and noisy, which may not appeal to all diners. Be aware of the entertainment fee on the check. Overall, it’s a place where good service and great food come together, a must to visit for brunch when you're in New Orleans.
