We recently visited from Indiana and New York, and this place was fantastic. We ate there one night, and decided with all of our choices that we’d go back a second. The staff is welcoming, and personable - but more importantly the food is amazing! If you like pasta with homemade sauce, and perfectly crispy pizza, this place is for you!
The online menu and printed out menus handed to us at the restaurant are inaccurate. The pizza was tasty, the waitress was pleasant, and the patio was lovely; however, we came here because the Tuesday special was 1/2 off bottles of wine and $5 pitchers of beer. Although these supposed specials were listed on the menu given to me at the restaurant, apparently the restaurant is now BYOB. No big deal, Canseco's market is right next door so I just went and picked up a 6-pack....
At first I was a little put off by the style.We walked out the first time because you had to order at the bar, off a handwritten note with some menu items on it. And you had to get your beer elsewhere. Wait, what?But after doing it anyways because the staff was really nice, we decided to get some beer at the nearby store and order a pizza.
