This is the real deal and a must stop in New Orleans. I’m glad I came here out of all of the Po’Boy spots around. The shrimp was on another level. This is a real institution - highly recommend.
From the time we walked in, we walked straight to the window very friendly staff. The food was impeccable. The food was very, very good. I had a hot sausage on French dress with American cheese, lettuce, and tomato ketchup. My sister had a shrimp Po Boy fully dressed it was amazing not stingy with the shrimps. I recommend this place 1000 times.
Parkway Bakery & Tavern is our favorite poboy spot in New Orleans. The James Brown poboy and the chicken and sausage jambalaya are must-tries and never disappoint. Cute paper hats are available at the cashier if you ask for them. The restaurant offers a huge parking lot, a bar, a full-service dining area, and casual indoor and outdoor seating.
