We were able to get a last minute reservation at Pascals Manale. We had impeccable service and the BBQ shrimp were a hit. I had the combination bake and didn't love it as much. It was a bit too rich to enjoy the whole dish.
Very good food and very good service in a nice environment. This is the place for BBQ Shrimp. The eggplant appetizer, red fish special, veal parmigiana and bread pudding are also very good. It was loud and the tables are very close together. We could hear the couple at the next table arguing. The eggplant was the best thing we had, followed by the bread pudding, if the entrées were as good, 5 star all the way.
Always a favorite when we visit family in NOLA. Everyone in our party of six raved about their dining choices. The evening's standout was the special Grilled Redfish "annointed" with Barbeque Shrimp. Perfectly prepared and absolutely delish! The table staff were attentive and courteous. The evening was made extra special by our waiter Eric who brought dining fun with professional panache.
