“I really can't say enough good things about this place. I started going here roughly 6 years ago when I started grad school at the University of New orleans. It's my absolute favorite bakery. Everything they have is delicious. I literally have never had anything bad at this bakery. The gelato is incredible. The sweets are great. The Spumoni is incredible. The people are incredibly friendly. I've come in so many times by now that they know me. Absolutely wonderful place. It's usually so don't be surprised if there is a bit of a line, but it's absolutely worth it. If you know the right times to pop in, however, you can walk right up without any wait. Prices are beyond reasonable. I will get a box of stuff and it will be around $20. Great place to take a date if they don't mind a little bit of a crowd from time to time. Highly recommend brocato's. I will continue to be a patron as long as possible. I'm literally leaving the bakery now with the bag full of goodies.“

“I bought some Turtles and cake today from Sweet Generations at the NOFA Gumbo and Jambalaya cook off. OMG! The turtles reminded me of McKenzie's! The cake was delicious! I haven't been to their bakery...YET! But I can't wait! I live in Terrytown but it I know it will be worth the trip.“
