Went to this coffee shop every day during our visit. Sam and Rowan introduced us to the Cortado with a pump of butter pecan and holy smokes it’s the best coffee hands down. Thank you ladies for your hospitality and delicious brew!

**Owner left a salt, bum-hurt reply after getting negative feeedback. Being a veteran doesn't remove the obligation to have to try or offer good service. When someone leaves this type of reply (very emotional, near 'ballistic') you can imagine what they're like in reality. Sorry I didn't want to pay for an $8 shot of cold brew (terrible value).
Couldn't get my iced coffee filter to the top, still left a 20% tip. $7.50 for a cold shot of coffee. No thanks

Best coffee I've ever had! The ladies behind the counter knew what they were doing and so kind and happy. Met the owner and his lovely wife. They are so much fun!! I had a pumpkin muffin , yummy. The shop has a good vibe and so many different things, I wanted one of everything. I just can't say enough about this place. Highly recommended.

My friend and i were walking around and stumbled across this amazing coffee shop last weekend great hospitality!!! we walked in from another coffee shop and had terrible service and the coffee was horrible. Here the atmosphere was amazing!!! The Coffee was amazing great recommendation from the barista he made it just right, the ladies were great we spoke to them about our horrible experience at the other shop and they told us thats not the nola way and apologized for the other shop…it was my first time in nola and it started off rocky but thanks to pirate king coffee made it a good experience…now i have four excuses to go to back to nola

The coffee, atmosphere, people, and service are so great here! Came here by accident because we left another breakfast shop for poor food & service; stumbled here by their pirates cafe sign. Honestly, it's such great coffee. The place was filled with everything pirates theme, and I'm a sucker for all things pirates. My friend got a shirt & and a cup and I got a bandana. Will be again for sure!

Great coffee shop, tucked down in the French quarter. If you get the shaken espresso plunderer, you will be in bliss. This was our spot while in town for the week. The whole crew was rad.

Tucked away from the busier more well known N.O. streets is this jem of a coffee shop. I discovered its existence by walking by a sandwich board advertising it. They immediately had me at pirates and coffee. The service was great, the coffee is amazing, and the atmosphere and decor is cool and inviting. Filled to the brim with pirate-y awesomeness. A definite recommend for checking out. I’m back home from my trip and ordering more of their coffee roasts online to keep me going.
