Fun little absinthe bar. The bartender was friendly and had excellent recommendations - I don't really like absinthe but since I was in an absinthe bar it seemed silly not to get a drink with some in it. She recommended an option that turned out to be delicious, and couldn't have been nicer to two randos that turned up in the rain.
Tony Seville’s Pirate’s Alley Cafe was was a fun place to stop when walking around. Down the alley by the Faulkner House, this is a chill place to grab a drink.

I was actually surprised this place wasn’t busier. It’s got good theming and has a fun vibe. Wife and I split a Pirate Punch on our way through. Only down side is that it is cash only. Would have had another drink or two when going by, but we were out of cash when going back and didn’t want...
The bartenders are so nice and have us a good detail about the drinks and absinthe! Got to watch it dissolve and turn colors which was awesome, if you don't even like the smell of Black licorice don't get the absinthe ?
I despise it and still got it because I wanted to see it's change and try it but was hard to drink due to the hard taste.
But definitely an experience I recommend to anyone interested ??
