I was in the garden district for work and desperately needed lunch. I went in here because I hadn't been since COVID and wanted to see what it was like. Order the baked chicken with dirty rice and salad. The salad was basic lettuce and tomatoes. The lettuce was wilted! And I even found a rotten bit. Gross! If the owners read this please don't serve lettuce like this! I can't imagine how hard it is to run an affordable restaurant post COVID but that's no excuse...

A small, family owned restaurant with a very casual feel. A bit pricy for the environment! I was charged an extra $10 for a piece of French toast, which I thought was just going to be substituted for the biscuit and gravy which came with the breakfast and I did not want. You’d think biscuits and gravy would cost more than a piece of French toast, so when I got my bill, for one egg, bacon, potatoes and instead of biscuits and gravy a piece of French toast, and then check was...

I order once a week from Please-U. My favorite is the red beans and rice with chicken tenders and vegetable. It a special order but I really enjoy it. Its locally owned and staff is very nice. My favorite restaurant in the area.
