I grew up in Kerala, and dang, they’ve mastered the flavors! Generous amount of coconut in the Appam, and the beef was perfectly tenderized with just the right amount of heat so that we could really taste the spices and not just the hotness. Thank you for having South Indian food on the menu! What a rare find!

Best Bengali food outside Kolkata.
Start at Beet Chop, go to rice, malaikari, kabiraji; then nehari & naan. Finish with homemade kulfi.
Go home happy, take a nap.
The passion & love of the owners show in every drip.
Took ferry & walked; easier than going to French Quarter from downtown.

Regular diner here and big time foodie - Plume Algiers is my all time favorite restauraunt in New Orleans. The food is always incredibly delicious and Merrit and Tyler always cater to my garlic allergy (no other restauraunt in the city will do that for me). Beyond delicious food and high attention to detail, the owners pour back into their local community which I love. Cross the damn bridge and eat at Plume Algiers! You'll be happy you did
