This Popeyes on Canal is a disaster. If you go in and it's busy at all, just leave. I appreciated the employees, but whoever owns this franchise property needs to wake up and give their business a little care. I don't think a person should be allowed to own a business if they aren't on site running it.

Personal is very inefficient. They prioritize orders based on how much people complain about their waiting time rather than the order they were done. Ordered a sandwich and fries and it took 30+ mins of course because I didn’t complain. They gave me the order incomplete to get rid of me because I was trying to advocate to myself and had to wait 10+ minutes more just for fries because they didn’t want to give them to me

Had a terrible experience at this location. Staff wasn't communicating that they didn't have certain items ready so we had to wait 20 mins for chicken tenders before I ask how much longer it would be. When I tried to ask for a refund cause I needed to be heading to a tour in the area soon and it was taking too long. Then suddenly it was all ready. When I did finally eat my meal it was all soggy and not fully cooked to be be crispy. Overall it was very frustrating experience.

Place was slammed. I felt bad not enough staff I think. We ordered ahead and the staff was so busy it was hard for them to deal with the customers ordering at the counter and those picking up food. The food was pretty cold but the chicken was still really good. Very hectic place. Was a long wait to pick up our food.

I am a tourist and thought it would be a great idea to choose Popeyes. We ordered at the kiosk and the orders were piling up and we waited maybe almost an hour to receive the food. The food was okay, it was the same as any other location but the store is understaffed and it took too long to receive the order. It was a Saturday evening so maybe it was just a busy night.

Place my order at 10:40pm tonight. Waited an hour to receive my order. The girl at the cash wrap didn’t even call out my order. So I received cold food when I asked for a remake The lady putting the orders together said she wouldn’t do it. After she had already made hot food for every guest after me. I was given the excuse that the They were going to close soon, even though I’ve been here waiting for my food for an hour. I was sold the cashier should’ve called out the names for the orders. However, that’s not my fault considering I’ve been trying to get this girl to give me my order for an hour.
Literally the Craziest experience I’ve ever had. I literally watched for an hour everybody’s order either be messed up or missing something and then be corrected. Yet when it got time for mine, a correction wasn’t even made
Me and a friend ordered at the same time on the kiosk, mine took 15 minutes and I ordered more food, theirs took an hour and a half and they just had a sandwich. They serviced people that ordered after us before hers. Slowest fast food in all of Louisiana, save your time and money.
