Public service restaurant is in NOPSI hotel. It is an open room design with the bar to the right and the dining room to the left. Because there were a lot of people in the bar, the noise level was moderate to loud. Once the bar thinned out though , the noise level dropped dramatically. The restaurant is clean and the service was fantastic. We had the blackened red fish and hearts of palm salad. The meal was delicious and perfectly cooked. The food was pretty good, but service was brutal. We were a group of six - four got food in a reasonable time, one took 30 mins more (just a burger) and one took over an hour. They did comp us for the meal that took an hour (there was another table that had one entree also take over an hour, so it wasn't just us). It wasn't busy - maybe twenty people in the whole place; maybe the kitchen was understaffed?
Food was good. Service was mediocre. Took a while for food to arrive. Wasn't crowed at all. Waiter did attempt to resolve by providing us with a complimentary dessert, was appreciated. Can't say I would frequent again. Not because of this, but because once I have visited a restaurant and wasn't wowed, no need to visit again.
