One of our favorite bars and easily our favorite place to stay. The rooms are exquisite and the balcony itself is frankly worth it on its own. Romantic and cultivated and cool.

Great service, great prices! One of our companies favorite places to relax and have great conversations with great people! Especially after a long day doing construction and landscaping all around the city. Boundless task force.

Stopped in the downstairs bar for a quick drink and discovered it was an awesome hole in the wall bar. The bartender was very welcoming and down to earth.

Always a great vibe. Service is great.
Best local bar 25+ years and counting
Nearby activities: Many great FQ shops, galleries, and restaurants are within walking distance.
Walkability: Extremely walkable to French Quarter.
Noteworthy details: R Bar has been a popular local hangout for years with great staff. Most local parades pass by, so it’s a fantastic location to meet up with friends and be in the middle of all the action.
One of the best bars to hang out and grab a drink between spots. Also, just a nice chill spot to get delicious drinks.

We just visited the bar. Staff is friendly. Lots of local folks. They have the Saints game on a big screen outside. It’s a cool neighborhood bar.

I have visited this bar several times, which always has a good vibe. On the weekends, there is a DJ playing a mix of retro music.
During Saints games, they set up an outdoor screen for viewing. Also, there is a popup food truck available.

I didn't stay here but the bar WOW!
This is the quindecinnial neighborhood bar. Great solid wood furnishings, long bar and subdued lighting,
The drinks are fantastic and the wonderful bar person, Leighann, was amazing.
This is where the locals go, and that will tell you something. If you want great drinks without the tourist price tag and want to mix with the locals, then this is a must.
Love it! Highly recommended.

Nope to the bar.
Don't know anything about the hotel. The R Bar was a great place to watch the saints game. Outside looks like the NCIS New Orleans show, inside much different. I like the vibe, the area is slightly more sketch than near Jefferson Park. Oh, good AC too! BTW: Get the frozen pineapple mojito.
