I have been enjoying the deliciousness from Ray's (Tammy too) for quite some time. Support this black owned establishment.

Hired the owner to cater our food for the Zulu Ball and didn’t provide the food as contracted. The contract stated the amount of food that was included in the price and that the food would be delivered by 2 PM. The owner still hadn’t delivered the food by 1 AM. He stated that we would receive a full refund. We haven’t received it yet and he hasn’t responded to our communication. Shame on him for ruining our night and not making it right. We have contacted our attorney to handle it.

Super dope spot Uptown. Great selection of beer. Not a wine drinker but it looked extensive as well. Great spot to watch games. Well be adding this place to my regular visited spots. Really cool atmosphere! Loved it!

This place appeared in boarded up building. For a few months they did not have windows but still served food. The patrons continuously park on the sidewalk and in the bike lane. They do not have proper disposal and the sidewalk is littered in food waste. They have makeshift tables that are permanently dumped in the middle of a cross walk. The are is a school bus stop and some mornings the smell from the garbage is so bad that you can not use the area as intended. This could be nice if done right but it seems like the owners are more interested in cutting corners and making a quick buck.I hope the city gets their act together and does something about this.

I hate when you start off with great fish plates ? and than you get your coworkers in your office to give the Black business play too. The time you go back and the plates ? are sorry looking with rolled up Fish Plate. Now we going to find a good place for lunch ?...

We went for a family reunion meet and greet dinner. Half the menu was not available. All they had was fried shrimp, fries or wings with fries. They have bottled drinks but were out of their punch and lemonade. They did have sweet tea, but only had 1 bottle left. We were not given a receipt with our items totaled. The waitress showed us the total on her phone calculator and a receipt is sent to your phone, which is also not itemized. The bar is fully stocked though.

Went here last night for a family reunion meet and greet. Half of the menu was unavailable, all they had was chicken, fish, shrimp and fries. They drinks are bottled..they had no lemonade, no punch, so finally I asked for 2 sweet teas. They had 1 bottle left. Eat before you come because the food takes an hour or longer to come. You will not get a paper copy of your bill. The waitress just showed us the total on her phone. The receipt comes to your phone, but all it has is a total.

i came in here while they were still setting up after their recent move and they still welcomed us warmly. while they're still on a limited menu. The mojito i got was delicious and sweet, and i had some of the famous gumbo and let me tell you: best damn gumbo i have EVER had.

We circled the shopping center a couple of times till we parked and I went and peaked in the window to see if the address was correct. It’s a very limited menu right now after they recently reopened. Crawfish meat pies were the best!! The catfish plates were delicious also. Great service from them, they were friendly, place was clean. We have them on a list to revisit next trip into NOLA.

The place claims that they were open but when we took an Uber to the place and arrived it was closed and there were people in the restaurant. We are out of towners and were dropped off in an unfamiliar neighborhood because they can’t update their website.

Came in from out of town, and went to eat. At around 5:00 in the evening on 02/20/2023, staff was leisurely sitting out on the front porch with an empty house. After watching us enter, and waiting to be seated, they entered the restaurant to inform me and my party of 3 that \"the kitchen is closed\". Terrible service, bad business practices, negative experience - NEVER GOING BACK, RECOMMEND YOU SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY !
